Bit of a squall line from Omagh to Cork, I presume the triple point is the large clump from Ballyconnell to Ballybofey, warm front from Bofey across to Ballycastle.

The biggest myth ever peddled in the Met world must be that a wet ground means that snow cannot stick. If the snow is heavy enough it will accumulate regardless, might take a bit of time to bring the surface temp down but it will happen quick.

Some temperature contrast across Tipp! 0c just on the Limerick border and 9c in Fethard! Only 30 miles/50 Km
