Has anyone mentioned the bus driver and how hes doing, is he white, male, straight, nothing to see here either.

The bus driver isn't the story. He didn't save anyone.

Only attractive nurses would get the media attention and media attention leads to being nominated for bravery award the day after driver has heart attack.
If nurse was middle aged with no make up on it would be nothing to see here.

You're trying to make this into something it isn't.
Sounds like you just have a problem with attractive women in general, being honest.
Regardless of whether they are heroic or not.

Lots of people save strangers lives everyday but we dont get to hear about it,if they are stunning looking females aged under thirty it will be all over the news and Tubs will get in on the action.

The real issue here is how often do bus drivers go for health checks.

They probably should be mandatory every few yrs for Dublin Bus drivers.

I can't believe some people are looking for negatives in this story. This is Ireland all over.

The nurse was very brave and used her skill to potentially save a man's life and possibly other lives. She deserves all the attention and praise she gets. And the armchair critics who come out of the woodwork at times like this should be ignored.

She hasn't been criticized anywhere that matters...if you mean this thread.....well...it doesn't really count does it

Administering CPR is exhausting. If there was no one else to take over for a while she'd have been banjaxed, she's due her dues.

I do think the media are making a meal of it though.

There was also a Garda involved in administering cpr on the driver, he was hardly mentioned.
