The major shock of the round came in Pairc Tailteann, where Cavan were bested by Wicklow and drop to Division 4. Meanwhile, Wexford beat Sligo fairly handy in a game that all but 2 of us expected the Yeatsmen to win (tip of the hat to Boom__Boom and castletownman).

Top scorer for the second week in a row is BonnieSituation with 32 points, good enough to be propelled into joint 1st, coming from joint 20th in Week 2!

And so, we have a three way tie for 1st. The tally for promotion and relagation predictions will hopefully give us a clear winner! I will post them up later on today.

Wow, what a finish! BonnieSituation takes it right at the death! That's about as exciting as a web forum-based competition with no prizes gets, in all fairness.

Division 1 Champions - Dublin and Kerry shared
Division 1 relegations - Galway, Roscommon

Division 2 promotions - Kildare, Mayo
Division 2 relegations - Laois, Westmeath

Division 3 promotions - Derry, Offaly
Division 3 relegations - Cavan, Tipperary

Division 4 promotions - Antrim, Louth

It was a short but action packed league with a few surprises and a few very predictable outcomes aswell, a few fun facts;

Dublin and Kerry shared the title, all but one poster had one of the two to be league champions. This was not a massive surprise. Roscommon (22 posters out of 25) were the overwhelming favourites to drop straight back down to Division 2, however only BonnieSituation foresaw Galway's demise, which was ultimately the winning of the competition.

The second tier proved to be a little less predictable, although Mayo proved each and every one of us correct in securing promotion. The race to grab the other spot was a little harder to figure out, with just 4 going with Kildare, Cork letting 16 posters down. In the relegation battle, 16 went for Westmeath to drop, but Clare proved 18 of us wrong, instead coming within 2 scores of Mayo in a promotion playoff.

D3 was an absolute catastrophe for many or most, Cavan (23) and Tipperary (16) - being the most popular choices for promotion - find themselves in Division 4 next year, while Wicklow (23 went for relegation) and Limerick (10) live on to fight another year in the third tier. 9 of you predicted Derry to go up, Offaly (0) were the surprise package.

Mickey Harte's Louth (21) were the most popular choice to escape the basement, Antrim (9) were second favourites, while only RMAOK predicted Wexford to 'win' the shield.

So, while BonnieSituation didn't top score this time, 14 points from the starting predictions were good enough for joint 2nd this round, which was enough to get top spot overall, with PTH2009 and jjjd managing 12 points each.

Thanks everyone for playing and congrats to BonnieSituation for the Lazarus-like comeback, no arsing about as the Championship throws in in Limerick's Gaelic Grounds at 3pm on Saturday, so I'll start a thread for that shortly.
