Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Almost daily when I see anyone using PPE inappropriately.

Are you a tolerant or intolerant person?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

Myself. Hell it's too warm in here.

Very tolerant. Otherwise I'd go mad.

What footwear do you, well, wear around the house?

ohh thats one of my favourite words!

Yes, yesterday and today. Unfortunately, due to the fact that I'm cocooning, they were outside so couldn't fling them out the window.

Are you hungry at the moment?

    I've lovely teeth
    Not hungry at the moment

Can you use one word to describe your smile?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

I never eat late. Interferes with me sleep.

    Genuine.

Ever share a bed with a snorer?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,608 ✭✭✭✭The Princess Bride

    Any cures for snoring?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

    Not a bit.

    Ever break a bone?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

    Broke more than one.

What's worse the initial break or the pains that follow?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

Shoulder blade and collarbone at tsame fall.

    Are you a good patient

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I refuse to rest and took about 9 months to have a major leg injury attended to, so I'm probably not a good patient.

Know how to apply a bandage?

Terrible I'm an excellent carer, though.
    Are you a good carer?

Edit: yes I bandage. I kiss better, too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

Yes I believe I'm a good carer and kiss it better if needed.

    Ever give CPR?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,285 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Only to the practice doll and I blew so hard in her mouth that I dislocated her 'collar bone'.

Would you trust me after hearing that if you KOd?

Ahaha I had a good laugh at that one. Yeah Id trust you to fill up my lungs alright at gale force speed.

Edit: absolutely everyone should know first aid. Such a pity most of us dont have a notion.

Do you think music makes us who we are?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

Not really. I'll listen to anything. I think it makes us feel good about who we are though.

Daily/weekly how much time spent listening to music?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

A fair few hours - the radio would be on at work.

Are you still working during this lockdown?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

Can you play music loud right now?

Yep. I got a great pair of headphones ;)

    You?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

What do you do when youve the house to yourself?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I don't have a great pair of headphones. Alannah Myles is playing loudly. Black velvet.

I usually have the house to myself. Nothing strange or startling.

Have you ever climbed out of, or in through a window, and why?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

    Turn that volume dial up!

    Edit: no window antics thankfully.

Do you think its possible to flourish without money in this day and age?

Its possible to live very simply and be very happy with less.

Edit: re. Kissing, short answer, yes.
    Opinion of dance music?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

Yes spiritually with a strong mind but obviously not materially.

edit. love dance music. love the beats.

Many of us have lost our religiosity. How would you describe spirituality without it?

I believe i am. How is proof shown?

Not sure how to describe spirituality with out going to the Google.

Do you feel bad when your reply appears and youve missed the question being asked?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

No, it's not deliberate, I'm sure people have other things to worry about. Lifes a bit short for feeling bad about these things.

It's in the reaction and their continued interest in being kissed.

Are many people still backward about sex?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

I dont know who could tell.

What do you mean by backward?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I dont know who could tell.

What do you mean by backward?

    Hard to briefly describe.
Inhibited and with a disdain for people who aren't.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

I think we are slowly shedding that veil.

At the same time the openess and lack of tac of teens and twenties on spring break interviews recently shows why we need to keep a hold of ourselves.

Is this a normal time for you to be up?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Sometimes. Bout of insomnia. I should get some work done.

    Anything playing there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

    Nothing playing

WHat sort of work should you do at this hour?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

    Minimal.

Well sloshed is a loaded word. But then again we are Irish. So yeah...stereotypically.

The home together concert was on tonight. Is any of it worth watching?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,285 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

There's funk all on TV these days so I'd say give it a try.

If you could have any artist in the world play for you privately, who would it be?

To thine own self be true

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

I can't pin one down but from lost artists - Van Morrison.

Are you familiar with the band The Band?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Privately as in just me? I wouldn't enjoy that.

    At my wedding, Leonard Cohen.

The band sound lovely. Very easy to listen to.

Do you know many really good people?

    Ever had your life saved?

Yes, life and safety. Many times.

    Ever had your life saved?

Yes twice. By a woman who touched my shoulder when I was swimming
And inadvertently by a guy who missed work on 10/11/01
    Are you a good kisser?
