Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Danish registered Star Air B762 out of Belfast (BFS), no destination displayed. Is this a regular for BFS?

It only went to SNN, an unusual hop?

Believe it’s based at Shannon. It’s in and out every day anyway, and tends to be parked up there for a large part of the day.

Might be mixing it up with another cargo regular, but thought someone told me before it operates a contract for Element 6 industrial diamond manufacturers.

Atlantic Aviation perform maintenance on Star Air aircraft at their facility in SNN so could be rotating out of service for maintenance.

It used to be a daily operation but they switched to a UPS 767 instead.

Likely a test flight, would suggest DUB as a destination is incorrect though.

Would make sense - origin and destination now removed from the flight

Indeed it turned back just off the North West coast and now heading towards Wales it seems.

G-JZHG flew MAN-DUB yesterday as EXS030F and took over 2.5 hours also taking an unusual route.

    https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/g-jzhg#200a0fe4

G-GDFD also did similar from MAN in January.

Dublin is operational. They mustn't have been able to accept the holding.

Fog at SNN? Unusual pattern here:

Edit: just realised it's the B737 7 series....probably training circuits.

If that’s what’s in the flight ID field of the FMS, what was entered for destination? 😬

There was a flight into Dublin last week from Heathrow with EGLL as its callsign.

Surprising as Aer Lingus don't fly from Shannon to EGKK (Gatwick)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,963 ✭✭✭Chris_5339762

Wonder what EI-DEC is up to tonight. Knock to Gatwick, has done a U turn over Bristol and is on the way to Dublin. Gatwick seems operational, presumably tech that could be fixed more appropriately in Dublin?

Aegean Airlines A36301/AEE6301 positioning from Shannon to Athens after maintenance, seems to have had a cabin pressurisation issue. The aircraft initiated a rapid descent from just above FL200 to FL100 and has turned around heading back to Shannon. The aircraft is an A321-232 registration SX-DGP, it had been at Shannon since mid March.

There's 5/6 heavies incoming from the states and Canada as I type, and this to me seems late in the morning for such flights. Is there a reason for this?
