Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

People feeling aggrieved on others behalf even if the other person isn't all that bothered.

    Also, passive aggressiveness.

Was put out of my house last night over a security alert (welcome to lovely Belfast folks).
Most upsetting was not being able to get in to feed my cat (we eventually got a PSNI escort in at 10pm to feed her and grab a few bits) but just knowing that you're not allowed to be in your own house and have effectively been made homeless by a few wee scumbags is just so infuriating.

My sticky tape dispenser has a bad cutting edge on it. So every time I roll off a piece to wrap the Christmas pressies it gets all twisted and mangled and useless.

Every so often I have this dream that I am lost in a city .I go into a shop and come out and cant find my way so wander around city streets getting more and more lost .Like this morning I then wake up disorientated and lost and it takes ages to shake off that lost feeling .

If it's who I think it is, she was about to get banned for being a rereg of a previously sitebanned poster. Jumped before she was pushed by the looks of things.

TA - Why are men so hard to read?

Did he recruit me because I replaced someone who was supposedly not so good.

    OR

After becoming friends, developing feelings and a night out that ended in Extended Hugging.

My head is melted... Now I'm working for him I feel like I've lost a friend and the impetus has slowed. It's all so complex. Someone please get my head straight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's FRIED! :pac:

People that sit in pre booked seats

This happened to me on a train from Manchester. I politely informed the man that we had booked these seats. He got up, and as he stood, I realised he was disabled.

So I was TA'd by the fact that he'd sat in my seat, but then extremely embarrassed that I'd asked him to move, and then TA'd that I felt embarrassed (the seats were clearly marked "Reserved" and there were plenty of other seats).

Every time I think of this, I swing from embarrassment to TA'd over and over :(

I am confused! Have you and the boss had extended hugs already? Or did he have extended hugs with your predecessor? And now you want some too?!

    LOL!!

We had them already just before I started working for him... He helped me move house and we had a few jars. I sincerely doubt my predecessor was of like-mind.

The thing is he's very friendly with all the girls in the office. I just don't know. It's driving me CRAZY!

Also, the hugs were with cheek kissing and almost... oh god... weakness :pac:

I was walking on a narrow footpath earlier. I'm hard of hearing and can't hear very well at all over the noise of traffic. I'm always scared shirtless by bicycles suddenly coming up behind me, I always miss calls when out walking cause I don't hear my phone, etc.

Well today when I was walking, I sort of heard someone talking fairly loudly behind me and I assumed they were on the phone or something. Then I heard them, a "lady" shouting "bobble head, f*cking bobble head!" I was wearing one of those bobbly winter hats so I realised she was shouting at me. The footpath widened out and she was able to pass me and as she passed she was shouting something like "are you not even going to f*cking say anything to me?! Right!" And then she thundered ahead, pushing a double buggy.

I can only assume she was shouting at me cause she expected me to move aside and give her a one person guard of honour, because obviously having a buggy makes her Queen of the Footpath. B1tch I didn't hear you!! And to be honest, I'm glad I didn't. And you shouldn't go around shouting abuse at people for NO REASON, you have no idea what someone might be going through.
