Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Why?

They've 2 more episodes, they don't have an on-air date yet.

That makes no sense at all.

Well, it demonstrates once again how badly TV3/Virgin Media TV have treated the show since they got Corrie and Emmerdale back...

It’s very Irish I have to say

No its not. I have never seen this type of scheduling before.

In effect TV3/Virgin Media have made a 3 season show into 7 seasons.

What a disappointing and absurd decision to withhold 2 episodes.

Also, why does nobody ever tell Linda to shut up?

Any word of when the final episodes will be shown?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,851 ✭✭✭Ten Pin

People in the UK have been asking the same question on Twitter.

I'm beginning to think they've lost the tapes or something.

Reun again tonight. Im beginning to think they really have lost the two remaining episodes.

Well, those two episodes must be *somewhere*, because VM *do* plan to air them at some point...

'Red Rock' also returns for deadly conclusion in the two-parter: 'Red Rock: The Finale'.

I'm really beginning to think they have lost the tape. What other reason do they have to wait for so long to broadcast the remaining episodes?

I am hoping its on a server somewhere, it is 2019 after all :)

I am guessing the last two will air when Darklands finishes, however if season 2 Blood is scheduled for the end of the year, they might hold off until January! But I think Season 2 of Blood is for 2020.

Yes but It also fills the slot that Red Rock/Darklands had on the next night.

Did anyone watch it? I had to have an early night so only got the first 10 minutes.
The Super is in very hot water

I saw it, then rewatched it yesterday.
Looking forward to the last episode tonight.

I thought Sharon was shown in a trailer about 2/3 years ago?
Implying that she knew Rory's true colours and was gonna spill the beans?

Too much potential for this to end now.
    Silly decision.

With one hour to go I can't see how they will wrap everything up. Although, Isn't the whole Rory story line finished?

The ending has been handled really badly by VM. I think I'll go back and watch the last 4-5 episodes before I give the final episode a watch. In a show I love(d) I've lost track of various events and happenings.

This is like the finale of Lost. There's no way they'll wrap everything up in the next 30 minutes.

I'm still confused. Did they all die in the end? (Those in the station). Did Podge die? TBH, I was busy chatting online so might have missed some important things.

A message that there will be no more. Very squashed together. At the very least they could have made 5 episodes out of it but the unending wait for the 2 final episodes show the disdain the production company has for the fans.

Almost a Shakespearean ending like Hamlet "I've no idea how I'm going to finish this thing so I'll just kill everyone".

AFAIK the two episodes were ready and waiting during the last run but it was a scheduling issue.

I know about the scheduling issue, but Im still saying it could have been 5 episodes. Not all squeezed into 2.

And really there was an awful lot of filler that was unnecessary.

Well The Bill ended with a normal episode and life carrying on as normal for the station but before that I remember they blew up the station twice in quick succession. Of course only a few characters they wanted rid of perished.

Speaking of the scheduling issue. Is virgin media really so jam packed with high quality content it took them this long to air it?

No.... not that I can see.

Virgin Media wanted to kill it, no reason to air it back in April 2018, even to repeat it last year, nightly on VMTV 3 at 6pm, until its final episodes this year.
