Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

And you are posting in the classic section? Ok, I get the whole "i dont like the colour' thing, but if you dont 'get it', why comment?

As for the "5 years off my 30th" thing, why the puzzle? You're 25. Most people will understand that on it own.
Isn't everyone entitled to their views?

The B200K (or B200F) would be better as it is a 2.0 original Volvo engine with more torque and HP. I had a chat years ago at a petrol station (it's actually 10 years now) with a guy who had the same car with a 1.7 in it and he said it wasn't that good, especially when the car was loaded with tools (he was a carpenter). He said he would definitely prefer the 2.0 but mine was a sedan and his was a liftback.

Not necessarily. If it hasnt been taxed for many years it may not be on the system (even if it is 'scrapped', it can be put back on the road once it passes an engineers assessment/report).

Been travelling around the country for the last few weeks, here's a selection spotted:

Kildare town. I used to think these were huuuuge cars, but it was dwarfed by the traffic around it.

    Near Naas, I think:

I was keeping an eye on this when it was for sale up north , RWD zetec was about 8 k sterling.

I think that was the Supersport 1300 originally https://www.flickr.com/photos/albertsbite/4566290782/

But for my 8k I'd go for this now  http://www.ebay.com/itm/331325570793
    2000 Ford Focus V8 Conversion
Great example of a “no expense spared” Focus V8 conversion for a fraction of the original investment.

All top of the line parts (details to follow). Car was built by Tee’s custom in Florida in 2003. It was their 8th conversion and a plaque from Tees is included. Google “Focus V8 Tees”. In the photos, Feb 2003, you can see my Dad (his project) top row third from right. Plus you can see the car in other photos.

Excellent Show Car. Little tuning should get you in the high 12’s if you want a drag racer. Real Sleeper, until you hear it. Attention getter wherever it goes. I have invested $34000 ($5200 in original car and $22300 in parts, $6500 initial conversion labor). I am moving on to another project, low reserve.

Original car had 90K light highway miles. It was a 2000 purchased in the fall of 2002. The body and interior are all stock and in excellent condition. All original paint no dings no scratches, not even a hint of rust anywhere. A couple easy years on the road in Florida and has been in a garage year round since conversion. Never raced, only local car shows. Cloth interior, roll up windows, AM FM cassette,

Cool wee cars alright those early Charades. Id say you could count the amount of decent ones in the country on mabye 2 hands. As for Gtti's, I know of one locked in a shed the past 10 years needing work that just won't be sold. Looked into them big time and as far as I know there 4 in Ireland and mabye 1's road worthy

She's actually 1 of 2 Factory cars ever made as a convertible. The original cars had the structural rigidity of a coke can so id love to know what that yoke must have been like to drive. Ive seen that car mentioned as being incredibly rotten and sitting up a long time. The 2 that were for sale, 1 went the UK and I think the other was broken for parts

The Charade convertible is a UK import, a 1992 model, it was crashed here and another Charade possibly a Gtti was broken for its front end to repair the convertible. I heard recently it was to be scrapped because of rust underneath but as of last week it was still in the shed.
