Whether it's a competition rose or a wonderful weed, post it here. Fruit, veg, blooms, landscaping or just something pretty you noticed growing in the crack of a wall on a country lane. Share it with the forum.
Please try to keep comments to a minimum and let the photos speak for themselves. A brief description is helpful and show your appreciation by using the Thanks button.

To embed your photo instead of attaching it ... go to http://tinypic.com/ Choose 'Message Board' or '15" Screen' or '17" screen' from the 'Resize' drop-down menu. Click 'Choose file' and navigate to your file. Choose 'UPLOAD NOW'. Copy the contents of the 'IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards' field. Back at the Boards.ie Photo thread, in your new post paste in the IMG Code. You're done. If you are not happy with the image size on the page, try again with a different resize option listed above (Message Board, 15 or 17).

Photos taken in May this year.

Apple trees, with comfrey planted at their base, and an overwintered cabbage spreading all over the raised bed.
    OhaKYFo.png

The cabbage is now growing up my young birch tree.
    rVYY2si.jpg

I think it will produce too many seeds for an urban gardener such as myself.

    Comfrey can get massive.

I left them to flower, since the bees were enjoying them so much. There was a constant buzz in my garden.

This was in a pot for years and was gone very straggly and wasn't blooming. Now that it's in the ground it's doing much better.

So many of the plants in my garden have special memories of people or places. This wild rose grew from a slip I took on a trip to my husband's ancestral home in West Cork. It's now growing vigorously over the wall with my neighbour in my small fruit plot
