Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hah.

Seems his virtue signaling, like all others, has a price tag.

'But Tom Adams, MD of the British Game Alliance said their plans are highly problematic for rural people.

“Such ludicrous ideas would be the end of shooting, a community that puts £2.5 billion back into the UK economy and creates 75,000 jobs,” he said.

“The ramifications of what Wild Justice are suggesting for rural people and the land managed for shooting would be cataclysmic.”

Ms Bedell added: “This is another extremist attack on shooting by those associated with the League Against Cruel Sports that ignores the well-documented evidence of the benefits of shooting to conservation and the wider environment.'

Mr Packham is storing up a world of woe for himself, that's for sure. Add to that that he has a smug little face that you couldn't just smack once.

Its crazy to think that people like Packham, who are so into nature can do this, knowing the benefits of shoots with reguards habitat and conservation. What negative effects so pheasants have on an environment? Seriously, stop the crap!!

Just look at our own country, where there are limited numbers of shoots. There is a lot of featureless land with little wildlife.

Back to Wild Justice, at what stage did Packham and his followers put conservation on the back burner, and focus more on this agenda, no matter what the cost.

Doesn’t surprise me one bit,it was fox hunting then it was badgers and then
he didn’t get his way on ban of shooting of pests,so it’s onto the next agenda,(probably deer stalking next)and when that falls through it’ll be onto something else,he’s at his happiest causing disruption shouting it from the top of his media outlet milk crate all in the name of “animal welfare”

If he objects so vehemently against the breeding and release (and ultimate shooting) of non indigenous breeds, eill he take on the NFU and farmers in general?
Probably 80% of cattle farmed in the UK are of foreign breeds.
Holstein and Friesian cows are Dutch/German and Canadian/Americian breeds, the beef industry is predominately French breeds, Charolais, Limousin, Simmental, Blonde Aquitane, Belgium Blues from Belgium and a bit of Piedmontese from Italy.
Are these next on his list?
What about migratory birds, should we shoot on sight Swallows, House Martins etc to keep our bird populations pure ?
I think he knows how those battles would go...

Scary now that we have two people with Aspergers being held up as the new saints of how to improve the World by going on crusades against the "eco sinners"...Packham and St Gerta Thunberg the Good from Sweden.

The last two more than likely Aspergers sufferers who got into crusade mode.Stephen of Cloyes and Nicholas of Cologne led the Childerns crusade....That ended quite badly for everyone.

Suffice to say that I have no time nor tolerance for any fundamentalist holier than thou preacher types.

Without exception all one trick ponies who sooner or later are being found out to be nothing more than snake oil merchants with nothing but their self interest at heart.
