Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah not everything is in english. The popular stuff should be.

Sometimes it won't play in english when you select a match from the home screen but if you scroll down to the live channel (s sport 1 & s sport 2) you can change it there. The option is there for the portuguese game but no english commentary.

Will look for english commentary when watching prem.
Was just testing the live stream for quality, was flawless.

My other streams would buffer fairly regularly, so this is brilliant.

There's also the button under rewind where you can bring up language option.

Any recommendations for a reasonable priced VPN(for firesticks) that would get this working?

Do the Premiership matches have build up, half time and post match analysis in English?
Not the most important thing, I know. Just curious as its nice to have

Do you know if they show all of the Portuguese Primeira Liga matches? Also do they show any games from the English Championship?

    Thanks in advance.

Only showin up as 17.99 dollars a month for me, that cant be right?

  • Registered Users Posts: 408 ✭✭karlyk1

Loving these Netflix/YouTube Premium/streaming sports bargains, fair play lads. Legit deals for buttons money. As per earlier post, can anyone recommend decent, legit, similar recommendation for PGA / European Tour golf coverage... That's NOT Sky Sports? Use NowTV for sports - not bad pricewise (at half price sub), but both my sticks constantly drop links and it's getting infuriating. Tnx.

    17.99 Turkish Lira I thinks - that's about €2

Mine was a mix too on the payment screen, it was a mixture of lira and dollar symbols but when it went to google play services screen, it was 2.42 dollars so I was confident with that.

if its the prem plus model they will have very little in build up tend to just be a camera and the players warming up, the 3pms in the good old days of no covid and fans would just show highlights of the games that were currently running concurrently to the one you were watching, the 5:30 would show everything from the day and same game with the games on sunday.

from looking at some of the games on catch up here its the prem plus model so will be interesting to watch a live game later

How much is DAZN? Is it 9.99 a month

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 375 ✭✭unknownlegend

for those that signed up with their google play account, did it take a while for the videos to be 'unlocked'?

I've signed up and can see the yearly subscription in my Play account, but cant access the streams yet (still connected under VPN)

Sorry, I was being too literal with my Google translations for the fee.

Getting an error using revolut, has anyone else had issues using revolut?

I shouldn't have put this one off until lunch. When I try the subscription it's offering 18 dollars a month now.

Anyone else have this problem or does it look like offer is up? VPN is set to Turkey

Have you translation on? I think it translates the lira sign to the dollar sign. It is still 18 lira

Instead of a vpn, could this work through Android TV mock location I wonder?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,421 ✭✭✭✭Kolido

I tried to signup with my revolut virtual card, didnt accept it but I see a pending authorisation notice on my revolut app. It is the first time I've used the card, anyone have similar experience?

have u gone through the app and clicked on a padlock video rather than packages which takes you to the website? It's through google play services, not google pay that the window comes up

It's fully legal, just stuff is a lot cheaper in Turkey due to cost of living, min wage rates etc compared to here.

Plus, the VPN usage which is a bit, eh.... of a grey area... i suppose!

Not the most important thing, I know. Just curious as its nice to have

Am watching the West Ham game, coverage started 10 mins before kick-off.
Generic discussion on the 2 teams playing.

At half-time they just showed the goals again + stats + last weekends highlights.

    EDIT:
Just to add, it's not flawless, has buffered a few times.
Probably my wifi, was looking into getting a wifi extender before.

They have a licence to sell it to you and you pay for it. You may be telling a fib by using VPN but no different to telling a lie to any shop

This will suit some people. SSport+ Turkey have premiership/La Liga/UFC McGregor etc/F1 plus catchup
Cost is approx €2 per month or €17.50 per year.
Requirements: VPN that has turkey and the app (e.g. keepsolid VPN which is usually on offer for cheap as a lifetime package)

    a) register an account using a VPN to Turkey https://www.ssportplus.com/ or go to step 2 and do step 1 through the app
    b) use the app which you must install as an apk https://apkpure.com/s-sport-plus/com.ssportplus.dice If you don't know how to install an unknown source, google it.
    c) Using a VPN, log into the app, click on any of the padlocked video streams which will then give you the option of a package monthly vs annual. google pay subscriptions will then take care of it, via US dollars. It should cost about 2.45 dollars which is about 2 euro a month.
One user did say they got the regular card payment page to work but most of us got errors.
You can choose English language for most events. For McGregor UFC on 24th Jan, it was the original US commentary.

You will get used to some minor knowledge requirement of the Turkish language to navigate the menus.
I use it on firestick and it works perfectly. Others use it on phone or tablet. Not sure if you can cast it to your TV.
This is the Turkish distributor of licence events.

Thanks for this. Loving the dual watch function in Chrome. 2 games at once :)
