Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Strange one. I'm getting English commentary when I'm watching a live game but as soon as I cast to the TV it changes to Turkish.

Edit: Nevermind. Just read the post above about there being an option for different languages within the player!

Watched Arsenal game on hard wired shield using VPN unlimited set to Turkey

The picture quality fades in and out during the game. Then on 70th minutes buffering started. It became to consistened and switched to eye p Station with no buffering and quality better

Hopefully it is not like this for the future and I'm not talking about Arsenal..

I followed the instructions in the OP and sideloaded the app on my Android TV without issue, I'm using Cyberghost VPN and have watched the end of Arse/Utd and the whole of Sou/Avl so far without any real issue. I had one buffer for around a second or so, and the quality briefly (30 seconds or so) reduced twice. The stream is within half a minute or so of the game itself, which is great, I've used "services" previously where the stream was a few minutes behind and it's a pain.

I had a NBC sports subscription previously, but when they switched over to Peacock I had nothing but issues with my VPN being detected (worse than with the iPlayer!), Similar to the issues people appear to be having with DAZN. The streams are in HD with (somewhat generic) commentary in English, for €2.50 a month this really can't be faulted, happy days and thanks to OP for the steer!

What vpn do you use? I had that same issue with keepsolid but switched to vyprvpn and those issues stopped.

They have the most recnt PPVs up so I'd guess Royal Rumble will be live too like Raw/Smackdown. I might check it out for the 1st 5 mins tomorrow night to confirm I go to sleep

    No real interest in UFC.

    Thanks

Not on the schedule and the wwe statement when announced said they only show Raw and SmackDown. Ppvs probably added later.

OP app, worked well for 2 games today. Some buffering but I have rubbish internet.

Can the sports plus app be installed on an LG TV?

Seems like the feed and commentary is the same as BEIN use.

They seem to have some. Anything in particular we could check? They did have McGregor last weekend for no extra cost.

Without derailing this fine thread too much, just a couple of questions on DAZN for those who have it.

Do the PL games have in studio half time analysis, even if its just for the bigger games?
Does the surfshark pvn, I believe this the one some folk were using for Canada, work also for other countries like Germany, Japan for example. Seems the sports carried are quite different from region to region.

LG TVs don't run android so I doubt it. Did you look on the LG app store for it? Unlikely to be there.

Thought someone a few pages back managed to do it on an LG TV?

    I have an LG tv.

Set you country to Turkey and then search in the store for it. I have it on my tv.

I can't get it to work though as I don't know how to setup a DNS. I don't think there's a vpn app to install on the tv??

Not much point, if any, using this to watch when you've already got good IPTV.

Try Windscribe. On their freebie version you get 50 gigs a month. Works with their free instanbul server.

Yeah there's studio coverage on dazn, it's English world feed/studio coverage, with guys off BBC & BT. Not sure if it's on all games though.
Haven't actually got it but seen streams from it, they're quite strict on vpns, signup apparently

Yeah big differences by country, there's a good guide on dazns wiki page.

Surfshark works fine for me so far.

Also you'd be better off with firestick probably . Firestick can run vpn app on it.

I have getflix, it works, I can't complain at the current price

as said previously, the Turkish server on keepsolid is probably getting a battering during matches at the moment.

They are usually pretty good at seeing demand and adding servers/increasing capacity. Hopefully that will come soon!

Wouldn't recommend using chromecast. Will be tricky to set up.

Just watching Liverpool match on firestick with keep solid. All good so far. No buffering or pixelation. Although I did have to bring my firestick display setting down to its lowest. Otherwise its a bit stuttery.

So far today had been going fine for me as well the other night the Liverpool match was unwatchable on keep solid.
Great bargain if keep solid can keep it stable in the future

  • Registered Users Posts: 330 ✭✭wildrover444

I spoke too soon. Second half of match is going back and forth between kinda blurry and clear.

  • Registered Users Posts: 330 ✭✭wildrover444

And now liverpool match buffering. So had to turn off. That changed quickly.

the picture is rock-solid HD since I signed up last week over surf shark. If there are issues it is your VPN, not Ssports causing the problem.

Yeah I moved away from keepsolid have had no issues since

  • Registered Users Posts: 288 ✭✭oodles19

Been watching the Liverpool game without a blip via CyberGhost, and I only have reasonable broadband here, no fibre. It must be down to the VPN then?

Fair enough. Vpn could be getting throttled.

Use Nord vpn, it has an option for a thing called split tunneling in the settings. Turn it on for the Google home app and then you can watch on Chromecast.

According to the faq on website it can only broadcast 6 things at once.

I don't think it had the West brom vs Fulham or Palace vs Wolves games on Saturday but every other one was shown.

The best I've seen is70%off the 2 year sub, surfshark is supposed to do the same thing and is cheaper than Nord.

surfshark is currently 50 quid for 2 years with a 30 day money back, thinking of getting this myself, at least to try out. Keepsolid is pretty bad for streaming I've noticed, works fine with Netflix which is all I've used it for up until now.

Currently topcashback giving an extra saving if you buy it through them.
Wait a few months for it but might as well get the rebate if you are buying anyway.
