Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    boo, highlight the text thats blocked. hold down left click and move over the text. its called spoiler, its to hide the answers from those who dont want to see them.

    The HolyBough is a cork paper but is sent global for all expats. I'm sure you can get it up in Dublin .... 'in all good book stores!!' ;-)

    I actually said that to my son today, but was caught up on the I fact - didn't even dawn on the fact that it could signify a number..................:mad: I'm kicking myself now :mad: ouch! that hurt :D:D:D:D

    This could end up like a Lotto syndicate. If a board member wins and we split the €500 - we will get about a Euro each!!:mad:

    The personal satisfaction in completing the quiz is the main thing though, not the cash. It has given me 2 days of fun, and a sleepless night last night thinking of NNI.

    'Black 47' is the name given to the year 1847 when the famine was at its height and is generally considered to be the worst year in Irish history.

    (Presumably the band took their name from that).
