Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Most of them are the same by the looks of things.

All we need now is for Halfords to join the list of offers so we get another €10 off the next socket sale.

Does the topaz work in all topaz stations or just ones owned by topaz??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,263 ✭✭✭robyntmorton

The T&C on the offers page just say :
To redeem this offer, you will need to spend a minimum of €40 at Topaz. Offer valid in-store for one purchase.

Doesn't really help, but there is a map included with nearby locations based on your selected location, and link to Google Maps for all locations. You might need to check and see if it's at a particular location.

That said, it's Visa offering it, not Topaz, so I would assume it's any location*

    (*Don't quote me on this)

That doesn't make sense, since formatting of the card number field was matching 16-digit number (xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx). Although, prior to seeing it, I also thought that 7-digit card number will be the one that's required for registration purposes.

Managed to register on the laptop whereas previously I was on the smartphone. Could be an Android issue maybe.

How often can you use a reward?

Is it a once off or what's the story?

    Cheers

Isn't it only for Platinum Cards?

FYI - I'd no problem registering on Android. (had just filled the car with juice so will have to wait for the Topaz offer)

I think the problem is my visa debit card is business and not a personal debit card and is not allowed in this promotion

Mine is personal though. I'm also using PC, so not an Android or mobile issue.

Will try a different browser shortly.

Tried in Firefox and Opera too, to no avail.

Activation code is live for 24 hours, so will try again tomorrow. I'm assuming it's a problem at server end.

Someone mentioned Halfords. Just google public sector discount scheme, register and print off discount vouchers until your heart is content. Includes Halfords and many more. And you don't really need to be in the public sector, nobody checks or cares.

I was wondering the exact same thing. Wife spent EUR145 in Lidl yesterday. It was this offer which prompted us in their direction (& a lack of vouchers from Supervalu where we normally shop) She probably would have been better breaking the shopping down into EUR40 spends. yes, a bit of a pain, but financially well worth it.

Going by the terms and conditions shown above it doesn't look like it.

Actually, I also think different people have different offers. Looks like my Lidl offer was for 1 day only, the day I joined. It did indicate that, but I seen the post here and thought it was extended, but it's in my expired offers now. Such is life.

Thanks buddy, guess Im going to get the wife/mother/aul lad/dog to use there cards aswell :D

It seems best to register each card separately unless someone can confirm it works on different cards link to one email address

  • Moderators Posts: 6,870 ✭✭✭Spocker

Got an email this morning to confirm my €10 cashback is on the way from a €36 spend in Lidl on the 4th.

@TheDriver I have a second card on my account, and spent another €36 in Lidl yesterday using that one, I'll let you know if I get the second cashback, but I doubt it

/edit/ Just noticed that some of the offers listed today have specific card numbers against them, my debit card, so it would seem you can only use that type of card for the offer - the Boots €5 back on a €30 spend for example

Did you calculate the amount as you shopped to reach the 36 euro?

When you log into your account does the lidl offer still appear? Or does it show as redeemed. Wondering if you can use it more than once

Gone from my List, and yesterday was the last day IIRC. The did say "one purchase only", but I tried twice, with two different cards, on the one account. Once redemption of €10 is on the way, I'll post of i get the second one

Not following, is it one off, or limit one per day/week/month?

  • Moderators Posts: 6,870 ✭✭✭Spocker

That's all it said "valid for one purchase only", no more detail than that - if someone else still can see a valid LIDL offer they might post the detailed T&C's

Used my credit card to purchase 50 euro diesel in topaz on Thursday evening, got my email this morning to say my 5 euro refund is on its way. Happy days.

Same topaz offer is running on permanent tsb rewards so I shall be using my tsb debit card in topaz during the week to get another 5 euro back.

10 euro saved on my fuel bill hassle free, can't complain .
Might invest my savings in booze or a lotto ticket later 🀣

Worked fine for me, best offers Lidl & Topaz so far.
All family members have an AIB card so looking forward to a nice payout as use both outlets anyway.
