3 hours later and it is still raining. Up to today, I recorded slightly over last year's full monthly total.

2016 up to the 5th: 29.6mm

20mm rain here with incessant rain and drizzle all day, seems to be finally over now.

For the first time since December 24th {I only had 2 such days in December, 11th and 24th}, I had a Winter-like day with cold sunshine and plenty of it! I love this, bring it on! It actually felt like Winter. In fact, see my mean temperature difference from adding 1st-6th values with the 1st-7th values:

1st-6th: 5.5c (+1.5c)
1st-7th: 4.9c (+0.9c)

That's how cold today was.

After a little rain this morning, hardly much, it was another cold and sunny day again!

So far this January, I am already up to 22 hours of sunshine - wow even better than last year.
