    Cumulonimbus have merged and flattened out to my southeast. Looks thundery, though I wonder if there is enough sun energy to keep it growing. Still 29C here.

    Just had a lone raindrop on my phone screen. Some darkish clouds hovering around athlone...

    Interestingly,its just south of there along the Shannon that the Tomaz's bbc news 24 graphics earlier today had a shower developing for 6pm onwards.
    Those graphics can be spot on.

    Can see the tops on them showers here in Castlebar to the E/SE. exploded quite quickly!

    Somebody should grab a few screen shots from Sat24!

    If you look at the moment, that Cb over Mayo is casting a shadow all the way to Wicklow!!!

    Amazing!

    If anything it feels hotter and far more sticky in castlebar since that shower. It was rain but not the usual Irish cold rain!
