    Was all set to dump King for Abraham but not so sure now :confused:

    Poxy assist aside, King looked decent on MOTD (looks a lot leaner and pacier this season I think).

    Like a lot of others, I'm having a mare of a season so far but actually quite happy with my team on paper

    He played well but rarely looked like getting attacking returns. Think the two assists flattered him. Wilson was more dangerous and advanced.

    Any obvious transfers needed? Have 2 million in the bank and a FT

    Pope (Heaton)

    Soyuncho, Lundstram, Digne (Pieters, Guilbert)

    Ceballos, Sterling, KDB, Salah (Cantwell)

    Haller, Abraham, Barnes

    I'd be looking to get rid of Ceballos if I were you. He looks great to watch but he isn't a great fantasy asset in my view and his minutes will be likely be managed a lot by Emery.

    Considering it alright but i'll give him the home game against Villa first. Arsenal were 2 up when he was subbed at the weekend so no reason he shouldn't be starting the next game.

    Anyone considering Djenepo?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,976 ✭✭✭Trimm Trabb

    Siggy has dropped to 7.7 so can I can afford him for Martial.

    A good move? Siggy always comes good in the end?

    Have Mount and can’t see anyone else at 7.7 or below. My other option is to bank and use the money for another striker to go with Pukki and Abraham next week.

    This is my team and I’m considering a consecutive banking. Can anyone advise of other options. Last weekend was brutal

    Pope
    TAA Digne Lunstram Kelly Zinchenko
    Mount Salah Sterling KdB Cantwell
    Pukki Haller Ayew

    Would like to get Son in but don’t want to drop City midfielders or Salah and Mount keeps impressing.

    Haller was ok last night but his issue will be if when Anderson Lansini or Fredericks are marked out of it like last night.

    Considering dropping TAA to free up funds. Have 0.6 in bank

    Is Aubameyang more vital than a city midfielder

    I'm in a very similar boat, some different personnel but similar prices. I want Son but am afraid to drop KDB just yet and freeing up the funds to upgrade a cheaper mid will cost -8 which I don't think is worth it.

    I think I will bank the transfer this week and see how things pan out. I can put out a decent team this weekend and if I want to get Son next week and keep KDB it will only cost -4. Spurs have a tricky away game this weekend plus a long journey midweek, so I don't think Son is worth a -8 or dropping KDB this GW. Most of that applies to Auba too if he looks like being essential. You could even free up the funds next GW and have him in for GW8 without a points hit.

    Mount injury might be the excuse I needed to wildcard.
    Not sure replacement, not Barkley anyway. Maybe zaha

    I was just about to ask about Haller. Did you see the game last night and, if so, did Haller show much? I have him plus Abraham and Barnes up front, all of whom I think should offer good pointsfor their price but Haller is that bit pricier, should I keep the faith with him?

    I watched it last night and he wasn’t given great service & was isolated at times. I’ve seen the other games & he is the player who will explode in certain games. Has a bit of a pure goal scorer about him

    So Im now considering for a -4

    Robbo --->>> Soyunca
    Wilson ---->>> Pukki
    Haller ----> Auba

    Just have enough in the bank to do it. Auba long term option. Need Haller to match Pukki over the next few weeks and cannot see it happening, so Pukki in as as everybody in my pay league has him.

    1ft 0.6 itb

    Pope
    TAA Digne AWB Lundstram Montoya
    Mané Sterling KDB Lanzini Cantwell
    Radford Pukki Wickham

    Not really happy with AWB Rashford Lanzini. United attack looks disjointed and he's not explosive. Would love Auba but it would mean downgrading Digne to someone like Rico to fund it.

    Any suggestions?

    Right so Aguero and Son benched while Sterling starts... I can't do without a rested Aguero against Watford. I'm doing a -8, after the awful start ive had, think it's time to shake things up.

    Sterling Rashford AWB to Aguero Son Cahill.

    Two home fixtures for Cahill is the only reason I'm picking him out of the 4.5 bunch.

    I'd say Ward is a better option, not going to lose his place as players return from injury. CP defence is a good long term play imo, they have a few tough fixtures in a few weeks but then a good run from GW14 - 21.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,691 ✭✭✭Taxuser1

    Agree on Aguero

    Where’s Aurier tonight. Didn’t make the bench even.

    Plan is
    TAA to Airier
    Sterling to Son
    Haller to Aguero
    Just love all fixtures for transferrees

    I'd have thought that Cahill and Sakho would be the first choice partnership even when everyone is fit?

    I considered Aurier but just don't trust Poch with CL rotation.

    If you want Auba but keep Digne, you have practically said how to do it already: AWB to 4.5, Lanzini to Guendouzi and Rashers to Auba. Spread it over two GWs to minimise the hit would be my advice.

    Perhaps, I don't know tbh. If you are sure enough with Cahill, go for it.

    Aurier and Rose didn't travel to Greece.
    (Foyth and Sessegnon still injured.)

    Looking at Spurs fans tweets and Aurier can’t do 2 games so close right now? But KWP was t played and Sanchez at RB was widely frowned on

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

    I brought in Aurier at the weekend. I wanted to do Barnes to Abraham but to manage it I had to downgrade Otamendi to someone for 4.9m. I took a punt on Aurier in the hope he was going to get a run at the RB spot. I'm hoping his good performance against Palace, and the fact Spurs weren't great in his absence today, will see him get the nod against Leicester. I get the feeling Poch still isn't convinced by him though...

    Nothing I’m really desperate to do and have 2 transfers so need to use at least 1. Does Ederson and Pieters out for Pope and Otamendi seem reasonable? To save around 0.8 and basically leave me the same team and then decide next week what to spend the windfall on?

    Yeah they are really nice transfers, no loss of clean sheet potential and probably more chance of bonus, saves etc

    Any update on Mount? What’s the injury damage.

    There is no one I can transfer too. Do I hold & start Cantwell or is it long term injury?

    WC not used as first tempted.

    4pt hit - Ake to Rico, Greenwood to Pukki

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,127 ✭✭✭The real mccoy 91

    Current team of

    Pope Norris

    Taa vvd amn Johnson guilbert

    Salah sterling Anderson Ricky mount

    Haller Wesley Gallagher

    Probably looking at keeping mount as it seems it'll be short term

    Anderson --> cantwell
    Gallagher --> kean/barnes

    Or

    Anderson --> maddison
    Johnson --> lundstram

    Have been tempted to wildcard but I can't find a team I'm happy to settle on yet

    Last I read he was hoping to be in for the Chelsea game. Doesn't appear to be long term but might be best to wait until Lampard's presser (might be tomorrow?)

    Gonna get rid of:
    Grealish - Mee - Coleman

    For:

    Engels / Vestagaard - Ricarlson - D Silva

    1 Ft and will cost 8 pts. Not sure I want to go down the wild card road yet. Any thoughts?

    I think I know what I'm doing which is to take a punt on bringing in Aguero as I think he could be due one of his customary 20+ points hauls against Watford, and in general I just think is a safer bet for returns (when starting) than Sterling.

    I want to go heavy on City despite last week's slip up (have KDB too).

    Main decision is do I want to go:

    D.Silva + 4.5 defender (maybe Tomori from Chelsea)

    or Mount + Otamendi

    I think D.Silva is excellent value. Then again I do think City will churn out some cleanies, and Otamendi was a superb scorer two seasons ago. Capable of popping up with a goal or sneaking a bonus or too if City don't hammer the opposition. Otamendi safer too. Not really sure if Mount is the real deal though and likely I'll be bringing in Abraham after the Liverpool match.

    Guilbert has the right back slot fairly nailed at Villa for 4.4 as an Engels alternative

    I was tortured with owning (and swapping) Aubameyang and Lacazette last year.

    There is no certainty with Emery and there’s every chance I’ll own neither this season because of it.

    If there was a manager there that would play them, every game, I’d strongly consider owning both of them.

    Bringing in Aguero is never a punt - he’s the most in form striker in an attacking team.

    On Dilvia - he’s great value but is he guaranteed his place every week ?

    There is no chance Auba doesn't start this weekend with Laca injured if that is your concern. It could affect his performance though. He's still a good choice for the next 10 GWs or so.

    Mount v James big case of form v fixtures, with mount edging it?

    His flags not removed. And after checking around there's no update on his fitness.

    Still a major doubt for the weekend.

    Any thoughts on Sterling + King to Lamela + Aguero?

    I think sterling is due a goal and he played PL - CL - PL at this stage last season so not nailed on to be rested. But Aguero is on form right now and I don't wanna miss out

    Yeah Kun's a must. Only drawback is that Jesus is back which means a return to Aguero coming off with twenty/twenty-five minutes to go if City are cruising.

    Kane and Mount out. Kun and Cantwell in. Captain kun

    After flirting with the sideways move of Sterling to Aguero I've decided to play it simple this week. Robbo (have VVD already) to Otamendi & Haller to Pukki. I've left in late to this bandwagon but now as good a time as any

  • Registered Users Posts: 9 Noddy86

    Just seen that Martial out again. I've persevered with him since he got injured as I expected him back. I'll have to take a 4 point hit now to get rid. Otherwise I stick with what I have meaning gambling on Greenwood getting points.

    So... take a hit on MArtial to get D. Silva or an equivalent in or save the 4 points and gamble on Greenwood.

    Leno

    Mings
    Dunk
    Lundstram

    Salah (C)
    Sterling
    De Bruyne
    Neves

    Pukki
    Kane
    Greenwood

    Pope, Rico, Kelly, Martial
