Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hard to choose one I used to listen to a lot of Eddie Lenihans story telling.

I’ve one childhood friend I pass often on the road. We acknowledge each other but couldn’t say we are friends.

    Have you a good imagination?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

Definitely not. I wish I was a day dreamer that's where all the good ideas come from.

    Do sunglasses maketh the man?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

Childhood acquaintances. I have that too. It's weird.

Edit. Possibly but if you don't get it right you look a twat. i.e. don't wear them indoors.

    Unless practiced imagination wanes.
For you what guise does imagination take?

Hmm not sure what this question is suppose to mean, though my imagination usually involves a lottery win.

    Favourite Corvid 19 cocktail?

Paintings are not only packets of photons hitting the eye; music is not just sound waves of nature's maths; coding is not only electronic bits of 1s and 0s. It's all imagination.

Not the worst, although that is entirely subjective. After a hiatus of a few years, back teaching English (online). And in recent times prior to Covid-19, teaching youngsters fundamentals of chess. Attempt to keep things a little humorous so that it isn't a chore to them.

Would you voluntarily work in a hospital/nursing home at this point in time?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,050 ✭✭✭Ruby Ring

Yes. I've put my name down locally but there's lots of red tape.

Do you have a preference about the colour of the chess pieces you play with?

If I play as the white side the four hoursemen of the apocalypse will appear this the world ending
So I only play with black pieces

    Isnt that awful?
