Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Miracle prayer

    Dear Heart of Jesus, in the past I have asked many favours, this time I ask you this special one (mention favour), take it Dear Heart of Jesus and place it within your heart where your Father see it. Then in his merciful eyes it will become your own favour not mine. Amen.

    Say this prayer three times daily for three days, never been known to fail, (must promise to publish this prayer)

    While I sincerely hope you get the response you are seeking from your prayer, there is no special "formula" for a prayer (other than the Lord's prayer) and no prayer is ever guaranteed "not to fail". God knows what we need and provides it in his mercy. Yes, God answers prayers but the answer is not always Yes.


    Its also worth pointing out that this is a discussion forum, not the personal ads of the local paper. Maybe we should have a discussion about the power of prayer?

    Please please pray for me. I am being harassed by someone who will not leave me alone. It's affecting both my mental and physical health and if it escalates it may damage my relationship. Please pray that this person will realise that what they're doing is wrong and that they will stop. I want this person out of my life once and for all. I never want to see or hear from them ever again. Please pray that my health and relationship will not be affected.
    I'm in a bad way and I really need prayers please. Thank you.

    I have put down a bad year due to a lot of issues beyond my control. I'm now in the middle of a health scare and I'm absolutely TERRIFIED. Please pray for me that it's nothing serious and that everything will turn out to be okay.

    Earnestly seeking prayer for relief of growing untreated pain and increasing immobility and exhaustion,. and asking forbearance when Ia m too ill to reply to posts etc. I can still knit work that sells thankfully..     Not getting answers from anyone. Seeing someone else in a couple of weeks. I'm scared and anxious and frightened all the time. I don't know what's going on at all. If the next specialist I see can't help me I don't know where I'm going to turn.

    Hi. I need prayer to forgive those who hurt me. They still hurt me to this day, ruining my reputation and life. It is hard to forgive those who are still causing you so much pain and trouble. please pray. I certainly need it. I am exhausted.

    Could I ask for prayers for the recovery of a young 13 year old Chinese boy [J.] for whom we acted as guardian while he was a student in school in Ireland. He is in hospital receiving treatment for a germ cell tumour impacting on his lungs and heart.
    In very recent days, there have been signs that he is starting to respond positively to the treatment but it is still very precarious.

    A note of thanks that my father's procedure was a success today.

    While he is still terminal, today's outcome should however mean that his remaining time will entail less pain/ diarrhoea/ vomiting and perhaps help his ability to digest his food better.

    May I.D.R. rest in peace, too. He died in ICU on Saturday. Covid. Please say a prayer for him and for his family, too - his wife who also caught it only came out of hospital last week and is still recuperating.

    Please pray for G.R. who passed away suddenly on Saturday, and for his bereft wife, whom he was looking after and who has dementia (but not advanced enough not to realise what has happened), and now finds herself without her husband of 60 years and without a home, too, as she'll be forced to go into a nursing home before the end of the month - all that was familiar and safe and of comfort to her is gone.

    Please pray for my father for whom we are now having a bedside vigil. His time left is extremely limited and we hope that it is relatively pain free.
    When his time comes, may his soul be reunited with those of his ancestors, the 2 miscarried children he and Mom never got to know and all his loved ones.
