Very good question, has there been any public consultation or debate as to the (wrongs or rights) of introduction of such Digital IDs?

Didn't the BBC (where this article is) do many a documentary on the terrible plight of the Chinese Uighurs and there need to QRCode themselves when accessing services and purchasing products, even simple kitchen cutlery?

Didn't Google (motto:do no evil) also call Clearviews AI (your face will be on this) technology, a bit 'too evil' even for them, citing privacy rights?

Didn't SF (inc Silicon Valley) City also ban outright the use of FaceRegCameras, claiming privacy concerns.

Yet here we are, the replacement of paper/plastic ID's coupled wtih scanners. Of course the next natural progression of this, will be to remove the limitation factor of having to lug around a charged up smartphone at all.

But a poster on another thread wrote that a lot of countries singed up for those passports, but decided in the end not to go down that road. I haven't been able to find out what countries pulled out. Does anyone know?

While this is one of many interesting pilot schemes, the early standard form of unified and global Digital IDs (under the covid theme), will emmerge next year, at every int'l airport.

This larger scheme will encompass many of these smaller innovations (pilot schemes), and use elements of their technology if those scheme factors show they are useful for enhancing tracking, tracing.

It's called the 'CommonPass framework' (owned by Rockerfellers {same as ID2020.org}), and backed by 'The Great Reset' folks i.e. WEF & Davos 2021.

Your lab results, your travel {or available paper/card} ID (and likely biometric values as above {stored as UnID value}) will form a HL7FLIR pair (also subject to further pairing).
This will then use Azure Cloud Blockchain (as per id2020) Complaince Engine central db.

This means you will have either a green light, or a red light if you want to travel (no reason why this could not be used outside of travel too).
At the point of manditory global vaccine saturation, anyone without one, will be a 'red light' (will not travel or enter).

Amazon (since yesterday) have announced a new live ID system rollout in it's stores, in their push towards their own transactional ID verification, using scans of the hand (n.b. ^AWS is a direct competitor of MSAzure{above}).

Amazon is rolling out a new contactless technology that enables consumers to make payments and carry out other in-store transactions using the palm of their hand. The internet giant has big plans for this technology, including offering it to third parties.

The company said it wants people to use their palm to facilitate “everyday activities” like presenting loyalty cards and verifying their identity before entering sports stadiums, offices, third-party grocery stores, and more.

Unless one is 'challenged' in some mental capacity, it's clear the statement (thread title) is intended or delivered as a question, proposal, indeed a theory.

Posters are allowed to question the relevance of evidence being given to support the theory that there is to be Digital IDs for everyong.

I noticed that another poster quoted from the following article / blog post:

I'm lost for words. I'm finding it impossible to debunk any of what the writer wrote. And the World Bank is planning to keep this going until 2025, which may mean that deagle now beings to make sense.

Can anyone debunk the claims made in the blog post?

Thanks, but several of the claims made have not been discussed in other threads, as far as I'm aware, namely:

1. Richard Rothschild patented a 'System and Method for Testing for COVID-19' in 2015 (there's a screenshot of the patent).

2. Bill Gates tweeted in December 2019 that he was 5. excited about 2020 in terms of vaccines.

3. "In September 2019 – also right before the outbreak – the Global Preparedness Monitoring Board released a report titled ‘A World At Risk’.

It stressed the need to be prepared for… a coronavirus outbreak!

On the cover of the report is the picture of a coronavirus and people wearing face masks."

(11) Digital vaccine ID’s are already being developed (12) and Gates has a patent on the technology that makes it possible to trace an individual’s body anywhere. 5. "Dr. John Coleman is a famous Intelligence Officer from the CIA who wrote a book titled ‘The Committee of 300’. In it he explains how secret societies manipulate governments, health care, food industries, the media and so on. This book can be found on the website of the CIA. (15)

No conspiracy. It could be a coincidence. I'm guessing the writer found the timing of the tweet suspicious.

You focused on that tweet, but how do you explain what Richard Rothschild did? Do you think the screenshot is fake?

I didn't mean to avoid it. I don't think it matters what I think as much as what I believe the writer of the article thinks of the tweet. I imagine the writer found it suspicious that probably the world's biggest promoter of vaccines tweeted that 2020, the year of the pandemic, would be an exciting year for vaccines. I'm guessing the writer believes that that tweet suggests foreknowledge of the pandemic. What I believe is that he may have been referring to vaccines for Ebola. I don't believe he was referring to COVID-19. So I think I've answered the question.
