Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Sport will continue in Dublin. There would be absolute carnage if they tried to stop it. The only thing I could see is the possibility of no spectators in Dublin but again, I think they'll let it happen.

    Well consider myself proved wrong. That is absolutely horrendous. If Dublin is in Level 3, no rugby is allowed essentially as it's non contact training and no matches.

    As usual GAA get carte blanche.

    Its not GAA get carte blanche. Its difference in physical contact etc while playing each sport...

    Thats why GAA isnt classified as a contact sport. It is absolutely ludicrous. Rugby is close contact, not denying that. But GAA is not chess either.

    I reckon AIL wise in Dublin the senior clubs will be alright.... the limits something like 200 spectators isn’t it? Or in and around that figure? Unfortunately even without this pandemic most clubs will struggle to get that at a regular league game maybe bar the odd Lansdowne v tarf fixture or nure v Mary’s might get above that at some occasions off the top of my head but 90% of fixtures wouldn’t get that I’d say so clubs should be alright I guess

    Yeah just listening to 9 news there on rte 200+ cases in Dublin today it’s not looking good unfortunately.

    i had heard both UCD and DUFC for him. We'll see what happens, colleges are just starting. There might be less moving around this year as a lot of kids seem happy enough with their first choice but as the appeals escalate, could see some players move.

    Probably where Nure will struggle with Glynn gone. Although t no Marsh or Melia plus a couple more for nure. Clontarf should be top 4 again this year. Young Munsters beating Con shows they may be up there.

    We were missing a few lads, but nothing too hectic either. But just in key positions.

    Highfield recruiting big forwards. theres a surprise....

    Saw some of Corinthians Ballina as was driving by and parked behind goals to see some of game. Very much feel of a pre season game in parts. very open, sides throwing ball around.

    Who was there 9? I highly doubt it was neil cronin was it given A games at the weekend i doubt it was him? Anybody know if munster player kevin o'byrne the cork con hooker moved to highfield or not at start of last season/this season even? Given it was his club at under age and given there classed as a division 1 club pre pandemic he might have moved back to them is all im wondering...

    Evan Maher was 9. Munchins/Garryowen thru age grade
    Think O Byrne did move back to Highfield but not sure. Hopefully he did as better off if contracted players who came through age groups are playing with those clubs as much as possible

    According to their team sheet No.9 was Evan Maher.
    Not sure about KOB but i know James Cronin signed back to Highfield.

    Probably more of a reaction to the only couple of cases within the system coming from the academy setup. They're likely trying to minimise their exposure as much as possible at the moment.

    Harrison has been injured so working way back to fitness

    Adam isn’t with Leinster but was put at 15. Not his best position

    Wasn’t he not in Leinster at one point though? If not part was invited up for a few trainings a while back. I remember talking to an academy player out of my club last season I think it was or season before we had an away game in Lakeland’s and he wasn’t realised for that game but he saw Adam down on the teamsheet to play and was saying he’s decent enough and has been runs lines against him in training up in UCD?

    Was in with Leinster for pre season last year and played some Celtic Cup, don't think he's been involved since
