To me, a Libtard is a person who has a radical ideology and dismisses the reality that does not fit with it.
To me, anyone who uses any ???tard variant insult is a person who has decided that people with intellectual disabilities are fair game for insulting.

but it's important to remember that national-socialism includes nationalism.
    And doesn't include socialism.

This is the kind of denialism that the bourgeois left tends to engage in alright.

Brexit, Trump and Casey can’t be responses to policy but influenced by outsiders. A modern McCarthyism.

Not really. For a start, we weren't discussing Brexit and Trump. We were just talking specifically about Casey. And even at that, there was no 'denial'. My posts here are largely speculative and exploratory. I'm not really confirming or denying anything, because there are few facts around. I'm putting out some views and looking to hear other views that might inform me better.

On the international issues, it is interesting to see the emerging evidence of Russian involvement in Trump and Brexit. On the local issue, I certainly didn't see any newly registered posts here on Boards either pushing Higgins or opposing Casey or similar, did you?

Any ordinary working person who thinks Viktor Orban is standing up for ordinary workers against the foreign horde might want to wake up to his proposed new "slave laws", which he wants to make law in Hungary. Another crypto-fascist rightwing populist leader looking after the rich once again. No doubt the clowns here who blame "the left" for everything will blame "the left" for this, too:
    Hungarians rally against 'slave laws'
The crowds marched towards parliament and the state TV headquarters, in what was the fourth and largest protest since the laws were passed last week.

Police fired tear gas to disperse protesters near the TV station.

New rules mean companies can demand up to 400 hours of overtime a year and delay payment for it for three years.

The government of Prime Minister Viktor Orban says the labour reform will benefit workers as well as companies who need to fill a labour shortage...

The far right have always hated workers.

    Hitler banned trade unions, remember.

Not quite. He initially stated that unions were an important part of workers political life and needs, but considered them to be too "communist" so they effectively set up their own as the only one workers could belong to and banned the rest.

The nazis also kicked off a massive social welfare drive that introduced unemployment/disability/housing benefits/interest free loans/pensions/support for addicts and ex convicts and a healthcare system under this programme. Something that very few nations had at the time(their foe Britain didn't have it for example). So the average German worker was in a much better position under the nazis than they had been before and better than the majority of workers in Europe. Unless you were considered an "undesirable" of course. Things are rarely so black and white.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
