Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In the same update Whippet mentions there's an opening rant about Albert Ahern. Does he mean Albert Reynolds or Patrick Bartholomew Ahern? Or some weird FF hibred?

He's known as Albert in private to be fair.

I'm amazed Jeffington didn't win it, he loves awarding himself titles and achievements.

I love that he is calling out leo varadkar, one leader of a political party to another.....

On a Scientology post, so, fair enough, have at it. But seriously, delusional.

Love he talks about respecting voter data, from someone who shared the email addresses of his party members, oops

It’s OK jeff has assured everyone that he didn’t slack off over the holiday period... he was flat out on the computer every minute he got when he didn’t have to tend to family matters.

Holiday period ... holiday from what?

You'd think he'd bother to proof read the certificate before publishing it.

Anyone else noticing a sharper more angry hue off Jeff's posts since he started playing footsy with the wobblies from the west?

    what a plonker!!!

he is accusing the Journal of censorship now as they won't allow comments on the whole Norin O'Sullivan / McCabe debacle .. most reasonable people would understand why the Journal wouldn't allow random people post publically what ever they want on a very sensitive legal issue; he is obviously annoyed as the comments section of the journal gives him an open platform to spread his 'alternative facts' to all and sundry and the protesting classes tend to enjoy these comment sections.

It would be interesting to hear from this political leader as to how he spent his Christmas helping local charities or volunteering around Drogheda .. or was he too busy to help those less fortunate than himself?

I had to write this to try to get some comprehension.
If the people treated elected, the same way government elected are treating the people, you would expect government elected to also be as mad as hell - wouldn't you?

My head hurts a bit after that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,748 ✭✭✭Pelvis Parsley

    Ruddish is a charming language.
    Dear Mr Leo Varadkar,
    .
Are you a complete idiot or are you a national stage coward?

    Such diplomacy.

it can only be those two options mr varadkar, why are you dodging the question? why oh why won't you play my game?

I love the way he portray himself as some sort of diplomat / ambassador but his linguistic skills and diplomacy are at the level of a 9 year old.

I see he now has 4 facebook likes on his business page (Clear and Graphic) .. for someone who goes on about his social media skills and qualifications this is fairly pathetic. Surely he could coax some of his 'political' followers to like his page !

well, if it's not rocket science jeff, how do we fix it?

let me guess, throw money at it

where does this money come from jeff?

they're the government, just magic some of it up?
fire all of the middle managers in the hse?

    cmon jeff

It usually involves politicians taking a pay cut, 13 billion from Apple, something to do with Dennis O’Brien, and some ‘facts’ about our untapped oil and gas resources.

    Jeff doesn’t understand big figures.

Wonder what would happen if someone suggested that people on the dole should only get payments for their first 3 children. Sure the savings could to the hse.

The meltdown would be something special

Maybe if there was a way to get those able to be employed into paid work and off the dole. That would save a few bob too.

One of his latest 'Job Path' posts has just confirmed Jeff's belief that you should be entitled to Job Seeker's benefit even if you have no intention of Seeking a Job.

He has posted correspondence that he has received through facebook of someone who is a carer for her husband who is on disability allowance. The woman in question was on Job Seeker's benefit but due to the demands of being a carer to her husband couldn't attend Job Path meetings. They have had to sign off Job Seekers benefit to keep Turas Nua from trying to get them employment.

Does Jeff not see the irony of his post .. He is trying to say that the state has no right to stop Job Seeker's benefit to someone who is openly not looking for work and has no capacity to work.

To me this shows how the Job Path system is supposed to work; it separates the unable / unwilling to work from those who are genuinely looking to work ... says more about Jeff's reluctance to be gainfully employed than 'bull-crap' from the government!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,481 ✭✭✭✭Hotblack Desiato

That is what carer's allowance is for.

That is what carer's allowance is for.

ah come on will ya ... people who choose not to work should be afforded more in benefits; think of all the spare time and hobbies they need to spend money on ... a political party doesn't run on hot air (or does it?)

He's just banging out random words at this stage.
I genuinely feel there's some mental illness in play here, all joking aside.

Jeff would come from the school of thought that would believe the more words you put on a page the better the text is.

In college there were always people like that - the assignment was supposed to be 5000 words; and people who didn't really understand it would bang out 10000 words of nonsense and then wonder why their grade was so low.

remember his thesis on JobPath he was peddling around and was annoyed as to why Sinn Fein were ignoring it as it was 100's of pages longer than Sinn Fein's .. cos you know .. quantity is always better than quality.

Ha! As we know here those questions asked could be answered a bit more truthfully.

    Q. Would you consider running?

Jeff: I did already. But it costs money and I was a disaster at getting my message out there. I made a total f-up of the air time given to me on LMFM, I filled out the UCD quick guide wrongly and embarrassed myself on the Candidate Vox Pop audio interview.

    Q. Would you consider Crowdfunding Jeff?

Jeff: Been there done that. Messy experience.

I like when Jeff rebuilds himself just to read the comments on his FB page from the soft in the head people he fools each time.

I think the same. His spelling and grammar is getting progressively worse. When he was on this site it wasn’t wonderful, but you could make out the crux of whatever he was trying to say. That’s not the case now.

He was always one for appeasing his ego, but he’s also much more angry these days in pursuit of online thanks. The bounce back in the economy hasn’t been kind to people like Jeff Rudd. He finds it harder to get thanks, and might be expected to get a job and contribute something back to the State he seems to despise so much.

He’s definitely a few cans short of a slab.

He really has no excuse for being unemployed .. there are plenty of suitable jobs available in the Drogheda area .. I know as I live up that way and know plenty of businesses who are looking for staff and can't get them.

the problem lies in our social welfare system; he would need to be earning about €50-60 gross a year to maintain his current lifestyle and unfortunately Jeff just isn't qualified or capable to earn more than that - even though he really believes he is qualified to earn big bucks ... housing, feeding, heating, clothing a family of 8 does not come cheap - but fortunately for Jeff our social welfare system will allow him to survive in relative comfort.

This is why I can't tolerate his nonsense and constant whinging about the very establishment that allows him to raise six children in a comfortable home with out the need to earn a penny. JobPath was designed to stop the antics of the chonic unemployed and that is why he is now dedicating his life to challenging the system - incase he is forced to get a job.
