    Interviews are starting this day week - we should have them today..

    A week isn't particularly long to prepare (I know we basically all have the material but still)

    I’ve been gathering all of my families information so I can just fill it in.
    Yes, starting this day week, i’m doing mine that day.

    Familiarisation material just sent out. Form B isn’t being sent out now until all of the stages are finished.

    There still similar to what was there before but have changed slightly, they are more specific to role of Garda.

    If you have prepped answers already, they should still be useable in my opionion

    Make sure you have the competencies well prepared, at least 2 examples for each.

    Is it necessary to have form b filled out for the interview then? It says on garda website and the form we received after stage 2 that we needed it but the form hasn’t been sent out yet?

    They said they're not sending it out until after the interviews and will only be sending it to those who pass.
    Saves time and effort for them I suppose.

    How long before the interview do they send out the competencies ? should we have them 2 weeks before the interview ?

    My guess is we'll have them Tuesday 2nd of September just from looking at past campaigns but only a guess as it's my first :p

    Had a missed call today and didn’t get a chance to ring it back so I’ve just looked it up and apparently it was the PAS? Anyone else get a phone call?

    Could be them, I got a phone call a couple days before my interview to confirm my attendance.

    They're confirming attendance. 018587643 will get you straight through to Garda recruitment.

    Interview done and dusted for me!

    Found it quite tough but they were really, really nice! Everyone just make sure you're not relying on one example for competencies - have a few!!

    Best of luck - anxious few weeks wait now :eek:
