Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Yeah, I realise they are being done separately, what I'm wondering is when they were told to expect their results as there wasn't much time between the English stream and Irish stream tests.

    Definitely. Let's say that 250 are going to be in college over the next year or so. How many of us in the Irish stream are realistically going to be part of that?

    Well they said the day i did stage 3 that the people in irish stream were part of the 600 and that we wud be treated and marked the same as them now, and that at least around 10% of final entrants will be through irish stream, but if u do better than english there cud be more than 10% if u get me

    Lads has anyone in the sraith Ghaeilge heard anything about the interview or received any forms? Did the lads in the main stream hear about interview times by post or e-mail again? Freaking out a bit

    I haven't gotten my date anyway Mary. Is everyone in the Irish stream still waiting on the interview date? I'm starting to worry about the lack of contact from PAS.

    I haven't got my interview date either. I think we'll hear news early next week, and I think we'll have about 2 weeks then to prepare for the interview. I think the last of the English interviews finishes on the 19th of May. I think we'll prob be scheduled to begin on the 20th, or else the following week.

    Thank God, I'm not the only one waiting so. It's confusing though as in the message I received saying that I passed stage 3 it also said the interview would be on in the first half of May. Maybe they made a mistake about that.

    Have you gotten the familiarisation material or application form yet Archer? I haven't.

    Nope, I haven't been sent any of the familarisation information for the interview either. I think for the English stream that they were told that their interviews would done in the first half of May. I think they just translated that email and sent an Irish version of it to us. So, I think that's why they said first half of May.

    Nope, no word yet from PAS on our interview dates! I'm beginning to think that PAS are thinking of the October take for the Irish Stream. I can't realistically see there being enough time at this stage to get interviews, background check, medical and the PCT all done for the last week of July. But I could be wrong. Will just have to wait and see.

    They are really pushing it, aren't they. Yea looking at that time frame there would be a mad rush to get yee through medical and fitness.

    I've got my date for my interview now. Our interviews are starting straight after the English interview, so not a huge amount of time to prepare!

    Yeah, I know, not sure now when the form has to be returned. I rang PAS and they didn't seem to be aware of the error. They said they'll look into it and get back with an answer. I hope now they give us an answer before the weekend!

    Ya and there's nothing in the application form about references either? I'm sure that the English stream needed to give references for the interview.

    We had to give the references on a separate form - Form B. They sent that out about a week after the interview form so you should get it soon enough!
