Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Lolololol.

Could you not offer some advice other than your lololol, this person is obviously new to trading and just looking for some feedback. As are most of us new to crypto trading.

No, I can't offer advice on such a preposterous request. Nor can anyone else here. "Feedback"?! He's literally asked "how can I get rich easily?" and then acknowledged that if anyone knew, we'd all be at it. The entire idea of it is laughable, hence "lololol".

Well I'm currently at 900 quid profit with XRP, bought it at 0.2$, it's now selling at 1.6$.

    Got lucky with that!

What exchanges do you recommend next as i am missing out in a few Alt-coins not currently on Binnance.

    Thanks in advance

Go to coinmarketcap and look for the markets of whatever coins you're interested in. Then join the relevant exchange.

    Cheers.

Binnace seems to have a bit range, who would be second in line, or is there a big spread?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,534 ✭✭✭EagererBeaver

What? Are you looking to randomly just join exchanges because of the range of coins they have or do you actually have a coin in mind that your don't currently have access to?

    Bit of both tbh

Is it not normal to say have access to a few exchanges?

Join whatever the hell ones you want to. Some of the biggest are Bittrex, poloniex, Kraken etc. I'm on cryptopia as well for Blackcoin. I also use bittylicious.

Finally you got up and running, that's great Tinder.

Here's the shít part - A fair few of the reputable exchanges have temporarily suspended new account registration. For example, I've been trying to get onto Litebit.eu to purchase some other alts, but they aren't taking new customers at the moment.

As for options to currently obtain alts which aren't on Binance...

Bitgrail is accepting new customers if you are looking to buy Raiblocks (XRB).

Coinomi wallet - It stores many different alts (it's 70% a list of shítcoins in fairness) but it has a handy feature on it called Shapeshift which allows you to exchange any of your Coinomi alts for some of Shapeshift's less mainstream alts. For example, I sent some Ethereum to my Coinomi wallet, used Shapeshift to exchange that to Reddcoin and Doge.

    Where does one buy Raiblocks?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,773 ✭✭✭SureYWouldntYa

    RaiBlocks going up and up.
    Why so

Can be sent instantly and for free. Seen a gif on reddit of some guy sending 0.0008 XRB or something extremely small like that to his walet and it came through in full in absolutely no time

It’s getting the full shilling on reddit now but with good reason

Bitgrail, if you’ve any other exchange then you’ll work it

Bitgrail, if you’ve any other exchange then you’ll work it

Can you buy some? Is it possible that someone with means capable of buying them buy them for me and then send me them?
    Is that technically possible?

It should be coming to binance soon too. Its well in the lead in a poll.
I might buy some before it goes to binance though.

Id imagine so if you trust them enough, they can buy on bitgrail and then withdraw it to your account on bitgrail or another exchange which trades xrb, or your own raiblocks wallet if thats what you want to do

Yeah that poll on binance is looking good for raiblocks, if it does get listed soon while there’s still momentum we could see raiblocks in the top 10 soon

    It takes....

2 mins to open an account on there.
2 mins to activate their 2 factor authentication.
2 mins to transfer some alt coin to them.
2 mins to sell that alt coin.
    2 mins to buy Raiblocks.

    Seriously. I just did it.

Seriously if you can't even be arsed to set up a few accounts then crypto investing is not for you. It's not a magical lottery ticket you need to put time and effort into educating yourself about these technologies and put money in because you believe it will be even bigger in the future, not just because you hear people are making money and you want in.

It's not for the feint hearted and you could lose it all in minutes. But I would advise you to get someone to help you and learn about it.

I was gonna grab some RaiBlocks earlier. Decided to watch a bit of football and setup the account after the game. Made some food after the game it went clean out of my head until much later.

    RaiBlocks in that time $23 ---> $34

These markets are foooooking mental :p

Asking someone on an internet message board you don't know to purchase something for you is 100% taking the piss. You are responsible for your own investments.

Coinbase can be set up in about a minute and any of BTC/ETC/LTC bought instantly with a credit card. I set up my bitgrail and Binance accounts in a combined ten minutes.

    I agree,

Can I just ask one question. How do you deposit money instantly, the only way I can see to do it and have been doing it is via bank transfer, which takes a few days

Coinbase definitely take a debit card the option should be there somewhere, it's the only way I've ever put money onto Coinbase myself

Your card has to support 3D secure, so if you're getting an error when adding a card then that's why

Great gains in Enigma and request network from when I mentioned it at the start of thread, knew REQ would explode but didn't think ENG would go up so quick
Bought xspec last week and Nuls start of the month, nuls could take off if word gets around. Only bought Xspec because of the huge increase with verge and privacy coins in general

A little harsh in terms of tone, but I sympathise with the sentiment.

If someone is going to post a "look how much money I've made on coin x!" type comment it really adds no value unless its part of a thread that began before the price went up.

Bought 1,000 VTC when it was about $.90 - $.95 - Still holding them all so happy with that.

Also bought 20,000 Substratum at between $.10 and $.20 so very pleased with that as well.

Bought some Ethos (at about $1.55 ) and Quantstamp (at about $.15) - with the recent dips (seem to be in conjunction with btc breaking more barriers) these may be good value buys.

Bought a load of Steem when it was about $.90 so selling it back at the moment - however the profit is more in fiat that satoshis as BTC also appreciated heavily in the time since I bought it.

Was looking back at the start of this thread about a month ago, and realising how well some of my picks have done, that's all.

Seems to be a lot of bile in general from one person in particular on this subforum.

Back in early Sept I was trying to get into crypto for the first time & was having problems getting verified with Gdax.

Same poster if I recall basically told me to p*ss off as no one could care about my difficulties at the time.

And to answer SkySter, as above I did mention steem back at the start of December before the price really began to climb.
