Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pretending to be a lauded musician. He's not

    Cashing in on mental illness.....

Looking deep and meaningful in every photo...

I think if I hear his life story one more time on radio/tv I'll crack up

Probably the most annoying person on radio. And there are plenty of those to choose from.

Think Eoghan McDermott has overtaken him now in the "most irritating tool on the irish airwaves" contest

A former athlete (an unremarkable one) with a cook book and never off the telly playing how many times can you say 'Cork' in one sentence.

"I am so miserable, feeling trapped, with my model girlfriend, free pass into UCD on Scholarship, pissing around in a middling band, less than average rugby player. You dont understand mental illness".

Pal maybe if you got off your ass, did something for yourself instead of being propped up by Mammy and Daddys cash, you would be happier.

"The recipe for sweet and sour is half sugar and half vinegar. If you couldnt taste the sour how you know the sweet?" So my boss told me.

There is nothing wrong with this sad sack only terminal boredom. No wonder Ros Purcell dumped him.

    Had a good laugh reading this thread. Been living away for a few years and forgot about most of these people. Most irish "celebs" seems like pure cretins. off the top of my head;

    - all of boyzone
    - brian McFadden
    - vogue whatever her name is
    - Gerald kean (the "celeb" solicitor)
    - Michael flatly
    - rosanna Davidson and husband
    - barry egan

Not sure why Brian O'Driscoll is on this list? The rest of them yeah absolutely but BOD was a world class rugby player who focused on his sport. I don't remember him engaging with any kind of celebrity status other than appearing now and again with his wife at events. Since he's retired I can't remember him being in the limelight at all?!

People think that he comes across as an arrogant smug D4 toff. An unfair estimation imo.

Since his retirement he has been annoying people through his media work (specifically on Newstalk radio).

In fairness he is very bland and extraordinarily unfunny at times. Not suited to that line of work imo.

A lot of that sociology course ran together, Joe Duffy, Brenda Donaghue and Dave Fanning, Gerry Ryan, Ian Dempsey, all came into RTE1/2FM together.
