Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ya poor conversion rate and it's from players that shouldn't be missing. Walsh/Finnerty/Conroy with poor ones so far.

None of them were mad wide though the scores will come imv

    Finnerty.... Tierney????

Tierney was playing deep too. Paul kelly seems to be staying in now and causing problems

Gleeson is some shot stopper lads

Always was, his kickouts were his weak points and the odd brain fart. Hes a bit like Eanna Murphy for the hurlers.

The last 2 kickouts out over the sideline

Very pedestrian stuff from both teams. Hard to believe there's relegation on the line.

And a championship coming up in a few weeks.

Why did it take 30mins of the game before they realise that Heaney is a better option than Brannigan. Thats been true for 5yrs at least.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,869 ✭✭✭Happyilylost

Jack McCarron the best thing about this game so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,138 ✭✭✭testtech05

McCarron has kicked some great scores since he came on

I thought the rule was you couldn't go back to the goalie from a kickout?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,138 ✭✭✭testtech05

Lovely ball by Molloy and a nice finish

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,792 ✭✭✭ShamNNspace

Im impressed with Molloy today great pass for the goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,266 ✭✭✭threeball

Molloy playing very well. Starting to grow into the role at intercounty

Imv there isn't a full 70mins in neither brannigan or heaney at this stage +brannigan got a grand point when we needed one

Directly back. So once a pass is completed you can.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 999 ✭✭✭mjp

Glynn's marking in corner back is too loose for this level. Comfortable carrying ball into attack but is always too far away to even get a hand in when his man is taking on a shot. Monaghan there for the taking but were seriously lacking in bite on the pitch.

No pass was complete. Beggan kicked it out to number 2 on the 35 minute on the button. He hopped soloed and then found Beggan in the middle of the park. I wound it back. It defo went from only Beggan to number 2 and back again. Does it make any odds that it was a kick pass or outside the 21 or anything?

Sorry i thought you were just making a general reference to both goalies playing loads of ball.

And I did think of that one you're on about but I guess the ref missed it like I did, as there was a gap and then a angled kick.

But yeah that should have been a free. They'd really only be looking for those 10 yard kicks and instant return pass.

    Nasty challenge

Darren Hughes always does some mad sh1t. Nearly a banker every game.

    Nasty challenge

Missed it was that what resulted in black?

Tierney very unlucky with the effort from the quick free.

Thought Kelly was fouled on the last one too

    Nasty challenge

Could've been a red. Mental piece of play.

It was. Nailed Cooke on his blindside off the ball. Missed too much/been unlucky in some instances. Be disappointed to lose this from here.

    Stone wall black.

    Arry Kelly dragged down

Should have been a black for number 5. Which would have meant red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,266 ✭✭✭threeball

We've butchered 5 clear goal scoring chances today.

Heaney should of passed. Great move. Simply pass to Tierney. Goal.

That was a terrible miss by Heaney alright. Gough having a bit of a frustrating game for me but maybe maroon bias on my behalf.

And both himself and cooke couldn't use their left foot which is criminal at this level.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,869 ✭✭✭Happyilylost

Gough having a very strange game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,138 ✭✭✭testtech05

12 sledging Shane was that the black or did he say something to the ref

Edit. On replay looked like he got bumped over by a galway lad coming through I guess he started abusing the ref over it

Hard to know. Has to be at Shane. Gough was too far away from him to be relevant.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,138 ✭✭✭testtech05

We need to get a couple of scores

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,869 ✭✭✭Happyilylost

    Needed that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,138 ✭✭✭testtech05

    Needed that.

    Big-time. Well taken score

It feels like one of those games you should have won by 20pts and ended up getting caught with a last minute goal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,792 ✭✭✭ShamNNspace

Will we regret those goal chances??

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,138 ✭✭✭testtech05

Finnerty did the hard work there to get inside should just punch over the bar take the score

Galway gonna rue all of those missed goal chances. You can't keep getting into the box and messing up with the last kick or pass.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,467 ✭✭✭Heraldoffreeent

    8 wides, jaysus!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,792 ✭✭✭ShamNNspace

That Beggans a madun he's gonna get caught

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,869 ✭✭✭Happyilylost

Beggan is some yoke. Gas craic.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,138 ✭✭✭testtech05

2 poor misses in a row there from Shane and Finnerty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,266 ✭✭✭threeball

Beggan is some yoke. Gas craic.

Second time he made his way up to the opposite box so obviously something they've worked on. High risk of getting caught.

Can't remember a game this bad. Our conversion rate is terrible. Hopefully this is it out of their system.

So wasteful can't blame anyone but themselves to be in this position. Up against it now.

Gleeson not at all impressed the last point was given
