Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They are ruining lots of sports. Have you seen that absolute numpty on soccer special midweek, the woman who knows next to nothing about football. Also there’s a woman commentator on MOTD the odd time who’d bleed your ears

Is your surname gray by any chance?😛

No problem with woman commentating , Jacqui Oatley is a great darts pundit on ITV but Trina seems to have nothing to say, the main commentator may as well be asking asking a wall for some insightful chat.

    All very one-sided this evening

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,578 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

My God burness has the worst walk on ever.

Hope he goes well in this. Showed some good stuff this afternoon beating Nicholson

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,578 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Decent set that. Burness impressing again but super 13 dart leg to clinch it for Anderson

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,578 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Jesus Anderson needing to pull out all the stops in this set

    That treble 1!

Great stuff from Burness. Making a game of it anyway.

Burness delivering on the promise he showed earlier today

    Some checkours from marjianovic

Good match this. Gone to final set after north was 2-0 down. North ahead 10-1 on 180s

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,578 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

North wins in the end. Mickey mansell on now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,578 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

    Mansell takes the first set

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,578 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

    This is pretty poor stuff

    Long averaging just over 73

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,476 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

This one went downhill after Long’s first three darts of the match.

Nice 127 to take the set though!

    This is a pub game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,578 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

    Nice 99 checkout by long

    AND THERE GOES MANSELL!

    Out of the tournament...

Thank God that's over. Mansell beaten by the Canadian. 75 average beats 74

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,464 ✭✭✭Ultimate Seduction

That game was actually a level below pub standard. Not even In the BDO do you get a combined average of 140.

Do players ever switch away from the 20 when they're hitting the 1 as often as Mansell was there? Say if you focused on the 14, even on a 'dud' go you'd be averaging 34...

Not a great game there either.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,421 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

    Was a shocking game.

I expected better scoring from Alcinas. Maybe he had his level dragged down

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,421 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

Ryan Searle seems to be quite tidy.

Good match even though the scoreline isn't reflecting it

Ryan serle isn't the stereotypical looking darts player anywau

That's one of the cool things about darts: players come in all shapes and sizes and haircuts.:P

    Someone threw beer on him.

MvG looks a tiny bit rattled by whatever happened. Even so, zero chance he loses here.

Van gerwen is clearly crying, very emotional

What happened MVG? I missed that bit

Edit: Some bollox threw beer over him

I'm surprised it hadn't happened to a player before this. PDC need to tighten the reigns on the crowd behaviour.

Some of the folk in there would’ve been drinking since 1pm today. Shocking behaviour right on MvG’s head too

The world championship crowd are usually the worst and least knowledgeable it seems of all the tournaments. Stupid chants and costumes and there for to get locked more than watch the match. They cheered for MVG last year all night that he was playing Cross and then did everything they could to put him off when throwing for the match.

The person who did that is prob laying on the ground somewhere now

A lot of Xmas nights out at these events who have **** all interest in the games and would cheer a glass of water being poured on stage

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,054 ✭✭✭D.Q

That's really terrible form. Thought the crowd were a disgrace during his game with Rob Cross last year too

I was hoping the Yaya/Kolo ditty would have faded out by this stage...

Can’t account for a knobhead like that.

Don’t remember an incident like that ever happening before.

Kicked out with a few digs off the bouncers and a life ban just the ticket for them.
