Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stopping now here in Donabate but that was definitely better than expected. Here's hoping there's a lot more to come.

Slide the bar to Tuesday at 12 o' clock midday. Is it possible we will really see that much snow??? If indeed that precipitation is snow and not rain...

i was looking at that today and if it turns out to be snow it will be brilliant for the east and south east coast but with things changing it might not become much

Looks likely. The radar already has it as far as Carrigtohill. Could be up to 4 hours of the stuff. Fingers crossed.

Looking at the raintoday radar, the stuff around dublin seems to be totally dying out.

And there's really nothing out at sea behind it.

Maybe some more stuff will pep up overnight, but seems like that might be it for a while.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 445 ✭✭_whiskers

The radar has it in Mahon and Glanmire now. Still can't see anything outside.
Temp rose from -2.5 to -1.6C in the last hour but now beginning to fall again.

Looking forward to Tuesday I think now. Maybe some of the bands currently dying out over the UK will suddenly bubble back to life when they eventually get just off the coast and create a surprise to wake up to in the morning, but I have my doubts

Casement reporting snow shower at 23:00. Where did that come from? False reading from thick fog ? Temp risen significantly there too, now -5, was -8 then briefly -7.

I am not making the snow or delivering it. just looked at various radar :)

This system is so slow moving that it has potential to drop a load on UCC. Unless you are in CIT, in which case it will be rain mostly :p
