If KikiLaRue was banned, that’s insane. Good and polite poster.

I can vouch for that sentiment. I've met KikiLaRue in person and she is a sound young lady. :)

I’m confident that as soon as this first period of fooling ends there’ll be no more pulling the wool over my eyes!

I am curious to know what happened to certain posters.

    Like Sharpshooter. And Muise...

Terry you were the very best.

At a very difficult time in my life I got great advice in PI from Carsinian Thau and a poster whose name I can't remember, but she worked as a psychiatrist I think and modded PI iirc.

I remember a few posters from the UCD forum around 15 years ago who were very enjoyable and helpful. Sebthebum (I think he changed his name to something like arbeit) and Chinafoot.

    Runfordahills was entertaining.

There was a poster called e_e in the film forum who always struck me as a sound person: knowledgable, but without any pretensions. Then bang - closed account - it was a sickener to see a good poster just vanish like that.

More recently Terror Firmer who used to post a bit here and in a few other forums I'd frequent, always wrote worthwhile stuff IMO, knew what he was talking about. He was here for donkeys years, but it looks like he closed the account a couple of days ago.

I remember him, he knew about the UCD tunnels.

There was also a medical student who posted regularly, can't remember her full name. Panda?

Jane Horgan-Jones, now a city Councillor, used to post there, but it wouldn't be fair to say her name.

Scraggs was another one. I don't know what she studied, but her personality screamed Ag Science. I think she was from Carlow. Might have been Kathryn Thomas.

I wasn't even a UCD student, but I was doing the Leaving Cert and my first choice on the Irish CAO was at UCD, so I frequented the forum for a summer then stuck around.

It's all the re-regs eulogizing their former usernames.

À propos of nothing, remember Later12 ? He was a very good poster. Definitely shouldn't have been banned from the Irish Economy forum that one time.

    Vexorg.

A machine on the reported posts.
A great example of a fair admin.
Pushed the ethos of boards as well as any.

I will break my self-enforced Don't Speak Ill of The Closed Accounts Rule this one time. And I didn't even break that for Permabear.

    His username preceded him.
