Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pretty much - except going to the supermarket... I feel like I'm risking it for a biscuit

How long would you last in used car sales?

Loads actually but probably the best craic was Trevor Brennan (the rugby player), we worked bar and door work in a bar & club in Leixlip donkeys years ago, he was a mad bastard lol, we'd great craic.

    Good question, same question so.

    Last DIY job you did?

    Installed an outdoor electric socket.

    Got that Friday feeling yet?

    Installed an outdoor electric socket.

    Got that Friday feeling yet?

Would love to say " yeah, thank fcuk it's Friday " but every day could be Friday at the moment

I bought Ullo wine filter to take away sulphites from wine, it works and hey presto no wine hangover, is that something that would interest you?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

No - but for the good wines I could do with a better method of preventing sediment from getting in my glass.

When did you last have a coctail?

Sulphates destroy me, drunk on a thimblefull, never heard of the filter. Thanks for mentioning that.

I'm not sure I e ever drank a cocktail. Must've been forgettable, if I did.

Do you really savour a drink or is it more a need for the buzz?

It depends. For example after work today I will lash a drink in to me and will hardly taste it.
But if only having a couple then its quality over quantity. I like the taste and like to savor it.

Would you have an alcoholic drink on most days?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

No. Every day sounds like a problem waiting to happen .I have enough vices :)

Is there such a thing as an Irish sense of humour?

100% absolutely. It's full of colloquialisms, self-deprecating humour, nostalgia and wit. Nowhere in the world delivers humour quite like our little land.

When was the last time you hoovered your car?

  • Registered Users Posts: 497 ✭✭antgal23

About 5 weeks ago I hoovered and cleaned the car, hasn't had much driving since so still pretty clean

Has the price of fuel ever been cheaper?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Yes! I remember when it first tipped over 1 euro. They had to replace the signs in most forecourts. And our prices are still way more expensive than in the americas.

Do you know the price of average things? Like - how much a litre of milk is?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,608 ✭✭✭✭The Princess Bride

    I would know, yes.

Would you buy fuel without checking the price, or would you be familiar with which garages are cheaper than others and go there instead?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Yep. More or less

Last time you got the car washed?

I would eat a bit of the fat on a steak

A farmer told me a rasher he produces is 70℅ fat and that it's totally safe to eat, he says animal fat is fine. I thought it was bad for you
Would eat a rasher with 70℅ fat?
