Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nope, but they're cut from the same cloth.
    Ger Gilroy is weekends.
He started Off The Ball with Eoin McDevitt... Probably a decade or so ago.
He moved on and Mc Devitt stayed and was joined by Ken Early, Ciaran Murphy and a few more.

    It was a cracking show.

Apparently there was a fall out between management and the team over bringing the show from 7pm to 6pm.

RTE will have the cheque books out

Thats a cracking show. Can't believe Newstalk will let them walk out the door. Not much out there for them though......2FM maybe?

Their options are fairly limited alright, it would be unlikely that they would be welcomed in any of O'Brien's other stations.

Pretty much over to the national broadcaster then.

He is an attention seeking idiot. Constantly trying to get himself into the headlines.
Loved him so much in the past but he is an absolute Plonker these days and has been shown up to be the shocking manager he is.

From watching other Man Utd matches with him presenting, he seems to have an obvious dislike for Nani. If it was any number of other players, we would have been saying it was a poor decision.

I was always one of his biggest backers over the years.
Last night was the straw that broke the camels back, can't defend him in the slightest anymore.

The irony of it all indeed.

Sitting in studio with Southgate... I wonder if this crossed their minds

Funny one in the office today.

At about 3pm someone did the usual gag "so d'ya know the Pope" to an Argentinean colleague.
"He's my grandfathers cousin" was the reply.

The lad in question never says a word and he's a bullsh*t free zone.

He'd been waiting all day for someone to bring it up as he's very quiet.

Paddy goes for a job at a chemical factory, the factory manager asks "Have you worked with chemicals before?"
    "Yes!" Paddy replies.
The manager asks "Can you tell me what nitrate is?"
Paddy replies "I"m hoping its going to be time and a half

To which the other goes"Does, doesn't it?"

Totally off topic but who else wants to punch Keegan Bradley in the nose for that annoying pre shot routine. It makes me frustrated even watching it!!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,430 ✭✭✭Ilik Urgee

Played with a lad yesterday he was trying to imitate Bradley's routine. He was less inclined to do so after a par 3 with an audience off the box, went through the whole feathering the iron on the ground behind the ball but just the one step-back. Scuffed it along the ground about 20 feet to an eerie silence until the sniggers started.

It was one of those you had to be there moments!!

Woods has a career strike rate of about 25% in majors, and is currently in top form, so while 7/2 may not represent great value it's the best you can expect to get.

And that includes none since 2008. Any idea what it was then? It's a phenomenal record either way.
