The vouches used to arrive in the post, but lately they deliver by text message, just a 9 digit number to use online or at till. Handy, because you'll have your phone with you, might not have actual voucher.

they only arrive by text if you sign up for that option, mine still come by post and i leave them in the car always handy to have

Not necessarily, now and again they will still come by post, but I've got texts on September 5th, October 11th & 17th.
I didn't sign up for voucher by text, but got weekly offers by text before.

They got my number originally when I got clubcard, but I didn't opt in for text vouchers instead of postal vouchers, as you mentioned earlier :-)

SuperValu is a real rewards card and you have to tick a bix to allow permission for text alerts otherwise they are not allowed to send you texts anymore.
Clubcard is Tesco and as far as I know they don’t send text alerts with money off deals

    Anywho
Back on topic, thanks for the post about SuperValu just picked up 2 slabs for €33 in 2 local supervalu stores

If anyone wants the slabs from SuperValu then don’t hang about, they were almost gone when I was just there just now and the fella said no more deliveries are due in, I got the last two Budweiser slabs

Just back from Dunnes in Charlestown

    Bulmers 24x 500ml cans €30 each or 2 for €50
    Carlsberg 24x 500ml cans €30 each or 2 for €50

That's a great deal with the €10 for every €50 spent vouchers.

I am nearly sure they had Budweiser on the same deal but was in to much of a hurry to check.

Post 4585 doesn't mention Bulmers or say how much the cans cost.

A litre for €20 works out as 14euro per 700ml.

700ml for 15euro works out at €21.43 per litre.

if minimum pricing comes in these are the limits
    24 guinness would be €39.77,
    24 heineken €40.71
    24 bulmers would be €42.61
    1L smirnoff €29.59
    700ml smirnoff €20.71
    1L morgans €27.61
    700ml jameson €22.09

Some predict they will be priced higher but I was saying there will still be free competition, offies can import from cheaper wholesalers if they try to screw us.

Also we might see boxsets like a regular jameson and a jameson caskmates combined and priced above minimum but could match the current price in tesco. It would be a good way for whiskey producers to get people tasting the more expensive stuff. Smirnoff could bundle with the likes of smirnoff black.

It confirms what was in the offer and another post has the prices being 2 for €50 and there is a pic somewhere floating around, I was in dunnes earlier and bulmers wasn’t included in the offer

I am just back from Dunnes with 4 slabs of Bulmers.

So it is most definitely in the offer now.

Which is why I posted it as Post 4585 had no mention of it.

I have no idea when Bulmers was added or how long it will remain, but my neighbor told me he got some last night and I picked some up today so its definitely running now.

    4 slabs you say ??
I have the ice and I’m on the way
That’s far too much cider for one man

I was in dunnes in cork and no bulmers, Tesco have it for €24 also which isn’t bad if someone doesn’t have a voucher

I wish it was only for one man :)
unfortunately I will be lucky if I even get to finish one to myself in this house.

The Tesco offer is grand if ye have no vouchers but Dunnes in Charlestown in Dublin are doing the 2 Bulmers for €50 so if I lived in Cork or anywhere else where Dunnes was not doing the same offer I would be having words with the manager.

I am hoping that its still going when I get paid next week so I can pick up another few. :D

Dropped into Dunnes on the way home (hard to get the slab offers on the motorbike :( )

    Paddy / Powers Gold Label 700mL €23

Brewdog 4x330mL cans - Elvis Juice €10, Punk IPA €8

There's no SuperValu within miles of me (D22) which is a PITA, and the local Tesco is small and a dump, doesn't stock premium whiskeys etc. (Tesco had some good offers lately on Power's John's Lane and Three Swallows) :(

    Life ain't always empty.
