Hey guys, will anyone in the Tralee area do me a solid and Collect a Zoomer Chimp for me before close of business tomorrow.

It's all my small one wants for Christmas and I just drove to all my three local Argos in Cork and they're all sold out so this was the nearest I could reserve.

If all comes to all I'll drive.

I'll transfer the money via PayPal or revolut immediately for the item and p&p or parcel motel.

    I know it's a long shot but it's worth a try.

    Thanks.

    Panasonic Breadmaker
    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/4009186.htm?_$ja=tsid%3A30390%7Cprd%3A7708057

Seems pretty decent price. ~€125 on amazon but you have to use parcel motel.
Tempted, used to use an aldi one a good bit but the paddles for it went awol.

my 10 cent worth, as someone who has bought the zoomer dog, cat and monkey, they really are a big waste of money, and even if they work (long periods of just sitting blinking) this held my kids attention for about 2 days and then got forgotten about.

probably just about worth the chance at that price

Guys I just want to say a massive thank you to iwillhtfu for going above and beyond today in the true spirit of bargain alerts.

He collected the Zoomer Chimp for me in Tralee for no other reason but to help someone out and make a child happy this Christmas.

That's his good deed done for this Christmas and I hope he has all the luck in the world for it because he deserves it for being such a nice guy.

Thanks again mate, if you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask.

    Merry Christmas.

Re. smartwatch, refunds came to my account yesterday. It was first time I have ordered an online product from Argos, was surprised that there is no obvious way to track orders online...

Complete greed, obvious they got it for 33 yoyo, but they are sticking to full price according to comments.. Fair enough, trying to make a few extra Bob outta something but the price suggests greed to me...

Did that work for you, when I set mine to Uk I can access the BBC, ITV apps etc, just get a generic error when I tried to play anything?

A DNS service, such as getflix (there's a BA thread) works either.

Hop into the admin settings on the router and switch the default dns.
    30 seconds max.

I have a similar LG model to this, two in the house actually and both are slightly different models. Both have a connection on the back that can be used with the old Analouge channels as well as the Saorview. They also have a separate satellite connector too so you can add a satellite dish to it at the same time.

I have both a satellite dish and the analouge pipe connected at the moment. You can switch between the different modes. However you if you want to watch Saorview you’ll need to switch the cable in the back as you can only have that or analogue running at the same time.

What satellite channels do I get if I plug the dish into it? Is it the UK free to air stuff or is there an Irish equivalent?

UK Freesat channels (reasonable complement of up to 200 TV and radio stations- including all the BBC and ITV channels etc).
