Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

None of my relationships were a success, but I do admit I can be a handful.heh.

Ever support a charity and if so what one?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 999 ✭✭✭NewRed2

Yeah used to donate fairly heavily to a Ban Fox Hunting charity but they joined with ISPCA so I stopped then. I dont trust the bigger organisations.
I fully intend to start going to fox hunting protests though, my own discredit that I haven't already done it.
I used to put a fair bit of dollars into the JFT96 too. Not sure that counts coz that was more a cause than a charity but anyway....
They'd be the only ones anyway

When was the last time you hugged someone? And why?

  • Registered Users Posts: 292 ✭✭Hippykitten

There's a man in my community who had a lot of personal tragedy in his life but he went on to become a community champion setting up a new service for vulnerable people, got involved in a lot of voluntary work and has since travelled a chunk of the world.
    That's a role model!

He sounds like a lovely person, the world needs more like him.

Oh my favourite conversation today by a mile was with a co-worker who had lost her husband years ago and she was telling me about funny things they had done together and I knew she liked talking about him so it made me happy that she would share that with me. I was chuffed.

What is your biggest regret in life?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 999 ✭✭✭NewRed2

    Right, I give up lol

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,128 ✭✭✭✭Oranage2

I think people are less sane, increased populations and cramped urban living, the rat race, looking on social media and everyone seems to be doing so well. All these factors are causing increased mental strain on people.

Most romantic moment was most likely my wedding day

Do you listen to the radio or just listen to your own music?

I don't unless my work schedule is busy and I'm tired, if I snooze during the day, I usually sleep poorly that night.
