A friend of mine is getting married on thursday, there seems to be some problems at the moment so please pray that God will show him the right way forward.

The little girl that i care for is sick in temple street childrens hospital. Shes not good. Plenty of prayers are needed please.

I would also like to ask for prayers! I have just been given a fantastic opportunity to volunteer in Colombia to try to make a positive difference. I'll be going with nine others and we will be working in an orphanage and community centre in Bogota. The home has over 100 children fully residential and others who come for day care. Many of the children have physical, psychological and learning disabilities, some have stories of abuse, neglect and abandonment. Its going to be a huge challenge and i need to raise a fair bit of money also. Can you please pray that the project will receive the generosity and support it deserves and that the trip will be successful. Thanks so much!

I will say a prayer for the requests on this thread each day, ending each prayer with "If it is God's will".

I would also like to ask for 3 prayers each day by everyone on here for 3 special causes:

1. Elimination of road deaths in Ireland.
2. Elimination of suicides in Ireland.
3. Conversion of Sinners especially in relation to disrespect for the sabbath, morality and false gods such as money, pleasure etc

As a Catholic I will say 1 Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be for each of the above 3 each day and I would ask everyone else to do the same along with their normal prayers.

I add 2 more prayers today:

4. That the island of Ireland will be consecrated entirely to God through the actions of the Governments in NI and ROI. I ask God to protect Ireland from the antichrist and that the governments on this island will recognise the natural distasters and signs that will occur as signs for conversion to God. In return for the meaningfull actions from our governments and some people I ask God to ensure that the island of Ireland is protected from famine and plagues and from natural disasters that result in a loss of life.

5. I ask God to influence the media bodies in order that they attempt to continually examine their effects on the minds and souls of the people on this island so that people can distinguish the difference between what is acceptable by God and to what is not.

I only ask these of God if it is His will.

Cathy I'm sorry to hear of your ongoing trials. I am praying for you.

I would ask you all to pray for the people in my college who are depressed, and that I may be better at putting my own interests aside in order to spend more time with them in their loneliness.

I was wondering if anyone could please spare a prayer my way...at the moment I have just become a new Christian, so if you can pray to strengthen my relationship with God, I would appreciate it.

Also, I suffer from deep depression and my husband is out of work, so money is tight at the moment. Please pray for us, especially for my husband to be able to find work soon, although its next to impossible with this recession, but I would be grateful for any thoughts and prayers said for us. Thank you.

Can I ask please for your prayers I really need them. My life seems to be falling apart. My bf & I are having major problems I love him so much & feel I cannot cope without him. Please pray that we can work things out. I fear he has fallen out of love with me.

Recently the Lord provided us with some funds and through prayer we decided to use this as a building fund, in the hope that we would be blessed with a premises of our own. I know that one unanticipated effect of the recession is that many churches are finding it cheaper and easier to get property. Several of our churches that have never had a permanent meeting place are now renting very nice pieces of property at bargain basement prices.
