Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Last drink - water

Was anyone else surprised to read above that Antgal23 - is not a woman? :D

Any other Boardsie's gender surprise you?

I was constantly presumed to be male before I used a female character photo.
Maybe because I like cars and fishing.
    Do you wear a hat?

    Do you wear a hat?

No, but I may have to start if I don't get to a hairdressers soon
Do you sleep in these mornings?

Do you sleep in these mornings?[/quot

I suppose you could say I sleep in, I get up later than a work day but that's because I go to bed late.

Would it surprise you to hear I have tried lots of things to remedy my snoring?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

I wish - normal days work unfortunately.

Edit: I would believe it - snoring remedies are hard to come by. A good elbow in the ribs has worked on me before!

How many books do you own?

  • Registered Users Posts: 497 ✭✭antgal23

In that case I would have had a lot of sore ribs!

I lived abroad in a few places so never got to keep my books, always left them or gave then to charity shop. One half of me would like to have kept them but the other half thinks they take up to much space

In short, right now I have maybe 20 books

Ever played virtual reality on PS4?

Are you horrified, am I missing out?

    No. Neither have I.

Any idea why I'm still awake?

Sure don't cats come alive at night anyhow!

What's the most adventurous thing you have done lately?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

That's like asking me to point out a molecule. Too hard to isolate one thing.

In this thread I'm never 100p% sure of it's appropriate to answer, or if the 2nd to last poster is supposed to answer.

If you were in sustained pain but analgesic medicine wasn't available, would you give something plant based like like willow bark tea a try, or not touch anything like that?

If there is a herbal type remedy that is known to work I would have no problem using it.

It's the last poster's question you answer. When this thread gets busy, just answer all the previous questions to keep it going!

    Last book you bought?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,408 ✭✭✭✭Sardonicat

I'm sure I'd try anything if I was in sustained analgesic resistant pain.

    Is it any good?

It was called "Who sent Clement?"

Sorry, just saw your question, Sardonicat. It is, but I'm not sure how it holds up against Aspirin.

Roughly how many jars of culinary herbs and spices do you keep in your kitchen, if any?

They both had their merits. Is it illegal to like both?

If at the end of your days you were to be given a Megalithic burial in a portal tomb, what grave goods would be included with your body to make your next life easier/more prosperous?

  • Registered Users Posts: 497 ✭✭antgal23

If it isn't illegal Widdershins it very much should be Oasis all day

Good question, stuff for the afterlife - herbs and spices, photos, the odd book, some type of tapestry for the tomb, my body should be wrapped in special scented cloth. Also, the coat if arms of my surname should on my shield

Is that answer too long and detailed or would you bring something similar?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

    I loved that answer!

Id have to sit and mull over mine (I already know Im going to be planted in a willow coffin, though :D )

Most people know what we call their Star Sign but do you know your Moon Sign?

  • Registered Users Posts: 497 ✭✭antgal23

Thanks for being so positive Widdershins :)

I don't know my moon sign. Re: the moon, I have read two very interesting books lately, The Lunar Effect by Lieber and Woman's Mysteries by Harding. Definitely a topic worth exploring

Dunno why I got interested in the moon tbh

Generally no, you will catch more flies with honey than shít, although frustration is a societal norm, controlling frustration is a critical success factor in emphasising decorum and calm, particularly during conflict scenarios.

Muscat grapes, moscato wine. Tempus II, if I can find it.

    I don't like prune juice.

@antgal, willow because its fast growing, renewable and breaks down faster in the ground.
Any bird feeders where you live?
