Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The quiz master in the bar with Ray and Sara was Arthur from The Tick.

Well it was the actor who played him, but I don't think he was playing the character of Arthur. He didn't stumble enough through the questions if he was meant to be him :)

New poster just released with a pretty big spoiler so not going to include tags

    https://twitter.com/CW_Arrow/status/1214592782838456326?s=19

Is it a spoiler granted those who do not know comics well will not know the characters name but it was signposted in episode 3 something was happening

It would be a comics spoiler so I'll change the post to show the link as non comic readers might not catch it

What would be the spoiler? Arrow? Don't see anything spoilerish
Terrible they have Batwoman front and center tho

The spoiler is related to knowing who Jim Corrigan is connected to in the comics and what that meant when Oliver accepted his deal. Oliver has become
The new Spectre and has powers now
    .

In relation to Batwoman, she is basically the replacement for Green Arrow in the Trinity so she is going to be front and center from now on in these types of posters

Still don't like the floaty dementor bad guys. They're just not tangible or threatening.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Entertainment Moderators Posts: 36,711 CMod ✭✭✭✭pixelburp

Guess it was either pay for Tom Welling or a dozen stunt-trained extras for the fight scenes :D I haven't watched any of these yet but having seen those Dementor rip offs, it has oddly turned me off; the actors look extra goofy standing in the middle of a warehouse going "pew pew!" at a bunch of CW CGI. Not exactly pushing the boat out here.

If they ever go for Darkseid and the parademons for the crossover it wouldn't look great on TV budget CGI

I'd say any future crossover events are going to be alot smaller, and I doubt we will ever get Darkseid on the CW. I'd prefer if they did mini crossovers between 2 shows like Supergirl and Batwoman and have them just be two parters.

They could do one at the usual time of the year and another with two different shows in March /April.

Agree, as fun as it has been to see all the characters together, the reach often exceeds the grasp. Some regular drop-ins between characters would be more fun. Though I totally get why they go for these mega crossovers at the same time.

Yeah but it's probably a production nightmare for them as they are dealing with cast and production crew from multiple shows. Like I doubt we will get Black Lightning in any more crossovers due to that being the only show not filmed in Vancouver. A Flash/ Black Lightning crossover would be great but they could never have the major characters of each show travel between Vancouver and Atlanta.

I feel like I need to go re-watch the first 3 parts, because it's been so long, I've kinda forgotten what's going on with everyone.

Chalk another one up for "YouTube Recommendations Ruin Cameo"; right there on the dashboard sits various thumbnails & titles of the cameo star. Sigh.

Wouldn't mind but I mostly use YouTube for non pop-culture channels, so it's not like I can (or want) to drop YouTube to stay spoiler free.

All I had to do was fire up Chrome on my phone and it was the first tile I saw this morning from "recommended articles" or whatever

Cameo wasn't spoiled on me thankfully, and it was epic!

I really enjoyed how everything played out, and the fact that the Legends portion of the crossover had all the usual Legends goofiness.

Yeah avoided all social media today and it was a thumbnail on the Google news app that got me

I must be one of the select few that didn't enjoy these last 2 episodes!

I guess the positive thing is they are all on the same earth now. Hopefully swamp thing might make appearances and we may finally get a green lantern

I thought the Arrow one was pretty poor. Outside of that amazing cameo, I was bored up until the last 10 minutes. Those dementors were the least threatening bad guys ever. Sarah and Kate were punching them to kill them FFS. Terrifying.

The LOT episode was much better (and had good humour), although both episodes were poorer than the first 3.

I love what it has done for the Arrowverse though.

Can't wait to see what they do with the HBO Max show they teased in the montage.

Completely unspoiled for that cameo - I'm very surprised they allowed it!

'Arrow' was what I expected to be and at least it gave Oliver's sacrifice a lot more meaning than it did the first time around. Glad they did, as some expected, bring Supergirl into the same universe and - which I was not expecting - Black Lightning.
Also damn right Beebo is sacred!

So the different Earths at the end - what other shows did we see there? I got 'Doom Patrol' (great show) and 'Swamp Thing' but were other things being referenced? I guess one was Green Lantern? And one looked like 'Star Girl' maybe?

Saw somewhere THAT CAMEO was all down to DC's Jim Lee. Or he had a huge part in making it happen.

I should also add I hope this means we get more Jon Cryer going forward maybe in the new Superman series.

Sarah lance and batgirl have to be 2 of the most annoying characters in the arrowverse! The Tyler hoechen superman seems to be very underpowered in the arrowverse in comparison the /to the kingdom cone version (Routh)

Don't mind Sarah, can't stand Batwoman - tho didn't even notice her in these 2 episodes bar a couple of scenes

In the name of Beebo, take that back! Sarah Lance is a great character and works well as the lead for 'Legends of Tomorrow'.
    Not defending Batgirl though...

    It's Batwoman :)

They're even admitting to the Green Lantern movie existing.
Though they've now made Doom Patrol and Titans separate Earths?

Found it strange that all the other shows got most or all of the cast in them yet the Legends who showed up here basically got cameos outside Rory and Ray. Even Beebo got a bigger role.

The cameo was a great surprise

I'm still annoyed Emily wouldn't even come back for Ollie's death.

The first line that is being made into a HBO Max series by Greg Berlanti so he is laying the fountains of it here.

Yeah clearly I missed that news. Just read about it now. But the whole thing looked movie like from the pedestals to the glowy uniforms
