Which Villa attacker other than Grealish is best option? Traore or el Ghazi? Are either worth getting for the DGW for Saka. Newcastle are crap so Saka could do OK but it's a DGW baby!!!

If Tierney is still injured then Saka could very well be playing LB.

If Barkley is back he’s likely to go central with Grealish moving out to the left and that would impact El Ghazi.

Traore on the right side seems safer. I’d punt with Barkley if I knew he was starting.

    I’d personally avoid Villa.

Edit - with CSF being the resident Villa fan I’d listen to him but if you’re hell-bent then I do think Traore is the safest pick to get 180 minutes.

    Che Adams is worth 6.0m

Not for me he wasn’t. He must have gone up 0.1 since I bought him.

I think you’re right about Traore being safer for the 180 minutes anyway because Barkley appears more likely to return immediately, and neither Grealish or El Ghazi are best suited to playing on the right hand side where Traore would play.

As a Villa fan I would be really disappointed if Traore is starting ahead of Trez when they’re both fit and available though. Traore is the better fantasy player because Trez is a bit wasteful in front of goal, but the work he does for the team is absolutely immense.

I did son to kdb and DCL to Watkins last night because they were all due to rise / fall bar Watkins. None of them moved. Ffs. But it's done now. Excited about this week!

Anyone think I'm mad for not getting KDB in while protecting a lead?

I'll have to decimate my team and either FH or -8

    currently thinking

    Pope (MccCarthy)

    Coufal Justin Dias (Mitchell, KWP)

    Salah(c), Gundog, Bruno, Son, Soucek

    Vardy, Wilson (Bamford)

With Kane -> Vardy and Holding ->Coufal my most likely transfers

I do think youre mad. Bruno on 4th yellow, is nearly move him the kdb if I was protecting something

Thinking about a -8 this morning. With Neto a doubt, I'll end up with two single game defenders in my team if he misses out.

Thoughts on taking the hit and bringing in Foden/Gundogan and Stones/Dias

I can afford any combination, but I've been burned by Pep before...

Did Raphinha and Watkins to Soucek and Antonio. The first transfer seems sensible enough. The second one is a bit of a risk but with Covid at Aston Villa and their first fixture against city, Im hopeful that antonio can outscore Watkins

Thiking about a -8 and hitting BB

    Team is
    Pope(Meslier)
    Cancelo Robbo Ogbonna Coufal (Dier)
    KDB Bruno Soucek Mahrez (Klich)
    Cavani Wilson (Bamford)

two transfers im considering are Dier & Mahrez > Dias & Ziyech, worth a -8 and a BB to cover it or keep the BB for after 2nd WC?

You got that lead by not getting KDB, why would ya get him now. We’re only halfway through the season, far too early to worry about protecting

Barnes or Maddison could be a good shout for that double for Leicester and nicely priced.

Obv I didn't go for either - sigh

This GW is shaping up to be another Farce....
Cavani better start and we need Bruno to make some space at the top of the table for Ole's men
