Did anyone else see Murray getting absolutely smashed in the face a few phases before that penalty?

    Nobody even mentioned it

Looked like he wasn’t gonna get up but the camera moved away

That all comes from Johnny Sexton's error.

Scotland would have to beat Japan with Japan getting no losing bonus. As that game looks unlikely to proceed, we essentially cannot avoid them.

By the way, I'm a bit furious that the final decision on Scotland v Japan is only being taken AFTER Ireland have played. Utter lack of sporting integrity by the organisers

Totally agree with the last part of your answer. But Japan can get a losing bonus and we would still top the group if we win with a try bonus today. But as you said the match will not happen so we cant avoid them.

That all comes from Johnny Sexton's error.

He can be very inconsistent our Johnny with his kicking

Standers been smashed three or four times already. Can't understand how body manages to withstand game after game if this.

The quick line out seems like a no brainer, surprised we don't see it more often.

Van der Flier very light at this level. Although plenty of other attributes.

He's exactly the same height as Pocock and 11kg lighter.

That's an insane weight difference for two elite athletes in the same position. And Pocock clearly isn't carrying any body fat.

Strange to see Ireland give away scrum pens

    Best under throwing at LO

Ball carriers are essentially encouraged to dip into the tackle and take a chance that they don't get too bad a shot to the head. This framework is not the answer yet. There are other dangerous things they could look at, particularly entry to rucks, that needed to be looked at.

Because he was picked up and dumped?

This myth has to stop. He’s as strong and as athletic as any other back-row in this tournament.

They both dipped but Stockdale a fair bit taller than him, he should still have been below shoulder into jaw.

Ever take a shoulder to the head? No incentive there boss.

He's no Dan Leavy for a power game.
