Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They won’t accept with outstanding charges, but Parcel Motel will accept packages from outside the EU, Parcel Wizard didn’t, to at least it was in their T&Cs.

I guess PW were obviously unable to check the whole cage of items delivered by Royal Mail. Got small package that came from Japan (no duty/VAT due, so came with other stuff unnoticed, I guess), 2 weeks ago.

Reading this thread is giving me very little hope that my recent issue is going to be resolved. Basically, they sent a parcel to somewhere that wasn't my usual delivery location, texted me to apologise and say they'd re-route it to the usual location. That was two weeks ago, and despite opening a case by email and waiting half an hour to get through to someone on the phone, there's no sign of it, so I presume they have lost it. Needless to say, as it was a birthday present from my brother, I'm not best pleased!!

Accoding to the parcel information when I log in to PM, the package is still in the locker at the mis-directed location, I even drove an hour out of my way to try and collect it from there but either the PIN just didn't work or the information hasn't been updated.

Also, related to this, the delivery location had changed on my Parcel Motel account after this package was mis-routed. I definitely didn't change it and despite changing it back, it has changed again at least twice since this happened. I even changed my Parcel Motel and it happened after I did that. Has anyone else seen this happen?

** EDIT ** OK, reading more of the thread I see the location thing is happening to others too....

No they didn’t. They said it is changing the way they operate.

Yes, a couple of weeks ago, exactly the same thing. I had to let it sit there and be taken back. It was put in a new locker a week later and i could collect it.

EDIT; Just went to collect a parcel an hour ago and wasn't able to get it - "mobile phone number or pin incorrect". Absolute rubbish i know my own number and had the pin in front of me. Just as well its not something i am in a hurry for.

seem to be in the same boat as everyone else.
Parcel delivered and signed for on Thursday 26th November.
Received no updates on parcel motel side
Created a support case but haven't had any update on it.
Would be nice to know if I need to rebuy my Christmas gift again or hold out. Bit frustrating.
I dont even care if they lost it. Just tell me, refund me and ill purchase it again.

End of the gravy train folks, AP is €6.50 per delivery + whatever VAT and duty customs decide.

Wonder what PM will do, they are ominously quite about the 1st Jan.
Perhaps hoping to exploit a loophole being located in Northern Ireland.

I called today ... spoke to customer agent and she did a "search" then said she needed the order details invoice so they can do a "warehouse search" which can take 3 days. she sent me an email from the case I had opened and was replying to so it was all being logged just nobody responding to the case.

Its been 13 days now since it was delivered to them. I said why did you not do a warehouse search when I opened the lost parcel case, she said it needed the invoice info. They could have requested that via the case. I have sent this now via case email. I am not hopeful of it being found , Item was £109 so I will likely get max €100 back on a claim. I've used service since it opened up and first time I have had an issue.

I'm in the same boat as you but my item has been in the warehouse for the last month. Only did the warehouse search yesterday.

My item cost €450 so I'm devestated right before Christmas. Massive hit to take.

I'm still holding out hope that it will be found.

I'm done with PM as a result at any rate. There is a serious problem in their warehouse that isn't being addressed.

It's not entirely clear what the formalities will be for goods moving GB -> NI -> ROI but they will have to go through customs either on arrival in NI or on arrival in ROI.

Jeez lads €3.50 odd per package for a gaming chair roughly 90cm x 60cm x 60cm with dpd wizard delivered from curry's UK was great value
Shame its ceasing to work from December 11th

How long are the current delays with PM? I pre-ordered something back at the start of October that got delivered this morning. Pity I didn't have the foresight to use Parcel Wizard but of course with them closing soon it would have been a very nervous last week or two.

Yikes, parcel i wanted to cancel the order for landed from UK retailer night, hopefully it gets to the locker down here this week.

Few parcels deposited with about 2-3 day average delay after landing in the Dublin depot for me which seems very decent considering the Christmas rush started early this year. Only 3 more small ones to go.

Does anyone else notice when topping up on the website you can only top up by minimum €11 which is ridiculous. Usually you could just pay the €4.50 and that was it. Bit expensive now if you ask me.

If you add a debit card to your account PM will just debit €4.50 from your added card for each parcel and you don't actually have to top up.

    Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone can help me with a couple of questions?
I know you have 48 hours to collect a delivery and if you don't it's returned to the local Depot. What I want to know is what happens then? Is it as simple as making an arrangement with them to deliver on a day that I know I'll definitely be able to collect it with the 48 hour time span?
Also am I right to say they don't work on a Sunday? If that's the case what happens for example if a delivery is stored at for example 7 am on a Friday morning. The 48 hours is up at 7 am on the Sunday.... is the delivery not brought back until the Monday meaning it's still physically in the locker but if you went to collect at say 3 pm on the Sunday afternoon you couldn't get it as the code wouy have expired?
Sorry for all the questions but Thank you because of circumstances Ive a very limited window to collect from my delivery location and I can't find any answers on their site.

Ordered from UK last Tues, arrived Antrim yesterday, was in parcel locker at 7.30 tonight (Kildare Town)

I think it really is down to location.

Just got notification saying i can collect- happy days.

Think that was 3 days from getting to the Dublin depot and 6 since it left the UK retailer.

They do work and collect Sundays. If you don't collect it they will return and reprocess it up to 3 more times and charge you each time. Suiting you is never a factor.

Finally got my 1500 refund from Parcel Motel today for a parcel delivered to them end of October. They in fact has first send the refund to wrong paypal email so I wonder what happens there as some lucky guy got free 1500.

The processed it to correct email today and I have received it. Looks like I am done shopping from UK mostly depending on how customs work come January.

Anyone know the average time it takes parcel motel to respond to an email? I received someone else's parcel at the weekend, I thought I would have heard back from them on Monday.

Has anyone else been in the same situation?

I emailed them on Friday but didn't hear anything today. I rang them today and was on hold for 30 minutes. I'm waiting on a parcel that was delivered last Tuesday and was logged in Dublin on Wednesday. It is still " in transit".
The girl I spoke to said that there was a huge backlog for my chosen location.
    They seem swamped

I got some items a week ago, cost €315, it was delivered to PM very early on Friday(4th - 7.30am) morning by Royal Mail, and I am yet to hear anything, not even the usual email with picture. I am starting to worry, as I always get an image the same day it's delivered to them.
I have emailed them but no response.
I have used PM since inception and never had a single issue before, I hope its just a delayed parcel.

I had a parcel delivered on the 5th and got an email this evening with the pic. I'd say its just the sheer volume at the moment.

If you order something from Spain, do you have to pay customs duty on it in the UK?
I'm not sure if the post-Brexit customs duty is in force or not?
The item I bought was a watch and it seems to have been rejected by UK Customs

Frustrating , T'was a Christmas present so have time to replace it but they should be replying to customers.

Anyone experience filing a claim for lost parcel?

17 days now , responded to them today for an update.

I am expecting the parcel has been lost/robbed.

Happy not everyone is experiencing the same problems.

I guess I have to lodge a claim now for the lost package .. I will be closing my account and looking for refund of the credit I have

I will have to buy another present before Xmas too

I will ring again if they do not respond to the email to case in a few days.

Awaiting a Nightline delivery of a parcel. Has been stuck at the Limerick depot since December 1st.

Any idea what the following comment on the tracking might mean - "LIB - Nightline delay [E3]"

No you don’t. They can seize what they believe to be counterfeit products.

Following up my previous post, I got an email from PM today admitting my package was lost i.e they have lost it. They'll refund me the value of the invoice I sent last week (with me losing out on the exchange rate, no doubt), but it's not much consolation as the item was a signed book and I don't know if I'll be able to order it again. I was offered the refund as PM credit or a payment to the card I use to top up, took the card refund

At least you had an invoice! My package is lost, I have no invoice. I doubt they’ll pay me anything if they do ever get back to me. Even though I declared the value of the parcel when I sent it.

Have you got a word processing programme? Or Notes? Do up an invoice using that.
