Ok my old toaster expired -well it didn't really it just no longer shuts off automatically, so time for a new one.

Very exciting.

I had a look at www.argos.ie (as you do) and noticed that you can pay up to €209.99

That frankly is a tad out of budget so I thought a 2 slice toaster with stainless steel finish and reasonable reviews might work well.

I saw this beauty. It seems to fir the bill and it's cheap as chips.

I was happy and went to buy......

I then went back for a second look and saw this

It looks very similar and is the same price (albeit reduced from a higher original price).

Can anyone shed any light onto what the difference (ignoring the toast in the pic.) is?

Essentially the difference is cosmetic. Do you want a toaster with a shiny exterior, or one with a less high shine, more satin finish?

Also, enjoy the toast!

Ah - didn't notice that. Thank you. I've gone for the shiny option

If you are paying 210 for a toaster there is something wrong with you.

It's £33.99 on Amazon.
There's another couple with similar reductions.
Couple of very happy kids this morning.
Cheers

Was picking up some home stuff in store on Friday that was reduced and guy working there told me that Argos are bringing out a new catalogue shortly so a lot of stock being reduced as it's cheaper than sending stock back to UK. So keep an eye out on the scanner next few weeks for deals.

Are the Argos Chrome extensions not working for everyone else?

I had these installed but they seem to have stopped working permanently now:

That's an amazing price for the T5. I paid over £100 for the same drive
