Homeside. I had a good day, went visiting a few poeple, got some exercise in and had a bit of retail therapy and I'm after ruining it all by making the incredibly stupid decision to look at old Whatsapp messages from my friend that died recently. On a serious downer now. Dafuq was I thinking? I'm such a stupid twat sometimes.

I'm going to have to change my username to either Gloomy Guy or Cry Person.

Sorry to hear about your friend passing away.
Don’t beat yourself up over reading back on your messages. I’d imagine that most of us would exactly the same in that situation.

My friend who is dying has shared a poem with us, it's do not standmy grave and weep by Mary Elizabeth Fry. Its somewhat helpful, and might give you some comfort.

Thanks Ma(m), very nice of you to say that :)

Don't mind ol' Cry Person over here. He'll get through it all in the end. He may even have some Ben & Jerry's in the freezer which is serious danger of being eaten in the very near future which always helps.

    My condolences, Guy.

That poem is beautiful, really beautiful. As soon as I'm back in work I'm printing it off and it's going on my bedroom wall. Thank you Widdershins. :)

He doesn't like eye drops 5 times a day, but on day 2 he is improving, 3 more days to go.

He isn't used to having here for days in a row, so he is like my shadow, missus and maid ignored :)

I'd take the BLT but I've just demolished a beef casserole, mash, peas. carrots and croquettes. You can have the cheese cake on the house!

At home laying on the couch with the luckiest man, he’s back to work Sunday so he’s enjoying his last night on the beer. Just eating Xmas left overs, starting season 2 of you.

Getting dressed in my hotel room, getting ready to head out to a recommended Chinese restaurant in Costa Calma this evening.

Another day at both the hotel pool, sunbathing and swimming, and later naked on the beach and in the sea. Perfect!

Planning to rent a car to see more of Fuerteventura tomorrow.

The biscuit base on this baby left crumbs everywhere as I lifted a slice up. Creamy. Lemony and crunchy.
