Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Shreelawn - 600

    Cosgraves - 610

    Naughtons - 595

    Bennetts oil - 612

    Corrib - 600 - Corrib matched naughtons at 595 .

    I got 500 lts home heating kerosene delivered today from Naughtons Oil, price was 508 ex VAT and 575 inc VAT so 1.15 Euros per litre. When I last ordered oil it was last Aug 2022 and the price then was 1.24 per litre so it was quite a bit cheaper today!

    Yeah , both Shreelawn and Naughtons commented that it had just gone up today and was on the rise again . Caught with the old " should have ordered last week" situation .

    hi guys

    winter approaching soon, if I can afford it I need to order some home heating oil, anybody any idea on prices and if the price trend is upwards or stable or (unlikely I know) going down?

    I just ordered oil from Naughtons, I was not sure how much was in the tank and could only afford max 550 euros so I told them to stop at that point, so that was 423 lts of kerosene, price per litre = 1.30 inc vat.

    Ordered 500l of Kerosene for €575 from Corrib Oil 2/Nov. Looks like it’s going to get more expensive as oil has increased by almost 3% today.

    Prices have dropped nicely since that person's post.

    His €575 is now an average of €547 nationally for Kerosene.

    Price seems to be going up. I paid €540 (108c per ltr) for 500 ltr on 24 Nov. I bought from Costellos Nenagh but Corrib Oil were the same price on the day. Naughtons & Cosgrave were 109c per ltr at the time.
