Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Poirier looked a little uncomfortable, like he felt he was been groomed

"i have broomsticks thicker than Charlie Olives" was the best quote of the presser, Hooker is a funny man.

not that i'd ever engage in piracy of course, but dana said they're cracking down big time and there will be a "surprise" for anyone trying to do it. wonder what that means?

He has a host of retired UFC fighters scouring the planet to catch people. If you are streaming on your laptop, don't be surprised to look up and see Matt Serra's fist coming at your face.

Probably means nothing. Just the fact that he has put this out means that people will be cautious - and I guess it is working as people are talking about it. Is it a double bluff? What has UFC done that boxing hasn't attempted before?

TBH - I'm not gonna spend £20 for a fight at 5am. I'm not that much of a fan. It'll be viewable somewhere when I get out of bed and have some brekkie.

Think he was more on about youtube streamers ....iptv guys are always a step ahead, the likes of Sky and BT tried and failed to put on a block on it so can't see Dana White doing much........not saying he won't have found something up his sleeve for this weekend but there's always a workaround

I could be wrong, but their first fight is a distant memory as any barometer here...and Dustin seemed to cave very easily in fight 1....caught in an awkward place, maybe...the shots that did him in seemed to glance....

Both similar sized.....Conor is NOT the same fighter he was a few years ago. He is slower, not as sharp....older, and likely has not lived a real clean athlete's life these past few years.

Dustin seems a stronger and more mature and robust fighter compared to years ago.

Interesting match, where a Dustin win should no way be a shock

BT Box Office on Sky €30.
You don’t need a BT sub, just the pay per view.
No other legal options in Ireland.

when you feel the touch of another fighter and it's not hurting, you take chances, you get confident and even inventive, then all things being equal, it's a match.

I was hit hard sparring before, albeit I gave away 2 stone, and you just go into survival mode, you know that you cannot continue taking them shots and it makes you cautious, gun shy and stops your flow. It's only a matter of time in
that regard, until you get hit again and again, and it's over. I just think even if Dustin get a a half shot, he'll spend more time anticipating the next one and it will come that much quicker.. I know it's over stated but we'll 100% know in the first 5 seconds and anyone saying Poirier is a great fighter needs to admit that he still is if it goes under 60 seconds..what does that make mcgregor???

Are there any illegal ways to watch the fight live? - I ain't sayin' nothin'!

What time is the Conor fight starting at? - You're banned son!

When he was a funny, but being honest an obnoxious *rick?

The early ones he was mostly just funny. When he started constantly bragging about money it got a bit too much for me. He reached a nadir during the Mayweather and Khabib promotions though. I think it's more about image rehabilitation these days. Maybe has a few too many skeletons in his closet to want to get into a war of words with anyone now.

They haven’t weighed yet, have they?

    Poirier technically missed weight?

    Or allowed 1 lb?

1 lb over allowed for non-title fights

It's not a title fight so a 1lb limit is allowed.

They were the first two fighters on the scales.

Amanda Ribas is great, a little ball of sunshine. The only thing I don't like about her is she sounds like she learned English from watching the Borat movies.

2 nights sleep till the fight night weigh in for this one is kind of pointless,

Was interesting during the week that everyone in the top 5 turn down that fight, except for Conor. And then obviously Hooker (#6).
