I picked one up in store. Three now have a policy that they won't sell them unless you take a €20 topup with the phone. Total price €160.

I heard the staff talking and its due to people coming in with Lyca sims that cost nothing to get (which surprised me).

That's what you get for treating new customers better than current ones. This whole 'discount-on-porting-number' nonsense should be banned.

Note 6 Pro is £140 on Amazon again today

Worth a look if considering this

Better warranty too, they'll just take it back and won't be scrutinizing the fone like the rest of the sellers online

I'm considering it if I can get the few Bob together today

It is a lot better fone than the one in the op for the extra 15 quid or so, is it not?

    Have they taken payment yet?

They seem to be taking payment promptly these days

no they didn't, they will take money when they dispatch phone. Also you can cancel order, if you find some better deal after.

They can be a lot quicker than that

I buy most weeks and sometimes money is taken immediately

Amazon dispatched xiaomi note 6 pro today(140£). It will arrive on wednesday. I expected phone from 15th january-10th february, because it was out of stock. I ordered on 21st december, it will take only 12 days. Well done amazon.

Worth it for the warranty alone

Chinese can be horrific to deal with

Yes it is a big risk, also somebody on amazon reviews wrote that amazon give 2 years warranty for this phone. Don't know if is correct.

Sent a fone back recently ,charging port was giving trouble, glass was also cracked.

Refunded no problem.Anywhere else they'd probably be blaming the customer.

I wish I would have done that when I bought my redmi note 5 from 3 .. they just told me to get a Tesco mobile one without credit and that cost me 10euro ... but i dint know you could get a free sim from Lycamobile at that time

Yep. To be fair, it's lousy that purchasing in Three stores seem to require purchase of an additional top-up (varying between €10 and €20 too), whereas you can buy online without a top-up.

Thats odd as anytime I've bought a phone off Three I've always had to buy a top up .
I even bought one at the end of December and there was no way to buy without either a 10 euro or 20 euro top up online.
Maybe they have changed it now.
