Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How does the préstale code work with Spotify? I have a subscription but m not sure how to use it to avail of the ticketmaster presale

I just got an emall with a link to the tickets on ticketmaster. I just clicked the link. I didn't need to enter any codes. So you only get it if you are a follower of the artist and have been listening to them enough it seems

Perhaps he bought two but found better seats.

Word of caution to others though, its an ID gig and when you purchase it says that the purchaser must attend with all ticket holders.

Dirt tickets, glad I got good ones in the presale

I got offered much better seats then in the presale. Block Lots of block C and D there

Looks like they are filling the place from the back to the front, I cant see any tickets in the better lower section. All in the upper tier.

Tickets in the bag. Delighted :D

    @ sally cinnamon89 "Got 65 tickets - I'm a broke student so it's all I could afford"

65 tickets? No wonder you're broke.
I thought there was a limit to 8 per person? :D

Standing was 65 now 79 ones available. This is struggling btw

  • Registered Users Posts: 393 ✭✭FledNanders

Got mine yesterday in the Spotify fans presale.
Such a good feature of Spotify tbf, worth the tenner a month alone!

Got block G seats. Kind of at the side, anyone know if they're any good?

Yeah I got Block B. Kept getting offered the back sections but kept releasing and eventually got Block B. Happy with that

Second date has been announced for the Saturday.

No surprise that but second night could struggle badly to sell.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 692 ✭✭✭aristotle25

I cant imagine the first night has even sold 50% yet, based on the tickets I have seen for sale as nothing available in the lower tiers from what I saw.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,746 ✭✭✭BullBlackNova

First night showing up as sold out on Ticketmaster now.

Wonder if that's sold out, sold out or "tickets have become available in April!" sold out.

The Saturday would have suited me better but no harm. Maybe I'll make a weekend of it!

Any idea when the pre-sale for saturday goes live?
    Have my code.

Got my tix for the first night, thanks to the member who shared a code, but would love another code for the second night if anyone could oblige.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,135 ✭✭✭✭John

Anyone know what the difference between the €65 and €79 standing tickets is? I opted for the more expensive ones but now I'm wondering was it just a tax on people like me who think they'll get something slightly better?

I got €79 too on pre-sale ... at Kilmainham gig last year and there was an area directly in front of the stage cordoned off where a walkway extended out into the crowd (and much used much by NC) ... am hoping that is what the extra €14 is paying for!! :D:D:D

I got the €79 standing, it says “price level 2”, on yhe TM order, but i didn’t know there were two types of standing tickets tbh

Tonnes of seats available for Friday and Saturday now.

All the hassle of getting tickets the morning they went on sale. Being offered crap seats, giving them up, getting offered different seats, having to take them.

Now 10 days later and the best seats in the place are suddenly available. Thanks for nothing Ticketmaster.

You can upgrade your seats ,ring up Ticketmaster and tell them you want to exchange your seats for better ones .

    Obviously yes

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,220 ✭✭✭Jurgen The German

You dont even need to ring. Just buy the better seats, send them both booking numbers and they will cancel and refund the originals less a service charge of around €6 iirc.

"We have taken the decision to reschedule the Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds European and UK Tour. While hugely disappointing, this feels the best course of action to keep you all as safe as possible.
We are working hard to finalise when the rescheduled shows will take place, and will share detailed information with you all as soon as we have it. All existing tickets will remain valid for these rescheduled shows.

    Sending love to you all.
Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds"

Just a holding date on their system.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,153 ✭✭✭dinneenp

    From Ticketmaster-
Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds – 3Arena. Postponed. New date to be announced. Tickets remain valid.

If Ticketmaster cancel people get refunds.
Rescheduled Events – If your event is rescheduled you will hear from us directly and your tickets will remain valid. More information here.
I'm guessing they're trying to hold off rescheduling for as long as possible so they can hold onto people's money.

You can get a refund if it's postponed, even if no date has been announced. They're obliged to. Announcing a new date has nothing to do with it.

Yes, thanks to !Marc, i requested a refund for Nick Cave on March 19th, i got an update on Saturday- saying -> refund process taking longer than usual etc- all understandable of course.

Did anyone who requested a refund for this, receive the refund ?

I requested a refund on March 19th, still no sign.

Or, is it a case of, they don’t refund until rescheduled date is announced- which this has not been. I understood a refund was available as soon as postponement was announced.

When I log into my Ticketmaster Acc it does not show it postponed it just show as an upcomong event like normal any updates please

There was a fella on the last word last week, from Bonkers.ie
He said that TM are not legally obliged to issue refunds due to gigs being rescheduled.
He said they always do so because so few actually get cancelled or rescheduled, but this was at their own discretion.
This is completely different as everything is cancelled or postponed, so it's a wait and see i'd imagine.

Wow, thanks for sharing, i wasn’t expecting that.

I have already had refunds for some non TM tickets, there was no issue, i was offered a choice as well, which TM did not advise in the Cave postponement email.
