Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've been shouting for Ashton, Hamilton, Newton, Painter and Part.

Some really good players are not going to get on the tour , and some really crap players have fluked a card with a jammy day.
Its a strange set up but thats life , one of the guys who got a card today won 150 in challange tour prize money on tour last year, while u have alan norris who could end up on challange tour himself

I suppose the luck of the draw and the best of 9 legs format lends itself to that unfortunately

Beeney got knocked out the first 2 days with 60 averages, and yesterday he didn't even get a 90 average in any game, he definitely got lucky yesterday. Fair play to him but on evidence shown he'll need to hit the practice board more or he'll get eat alive on the pro tour

Sherrock out averaged 92 missed crucial doubles

Suzuki out too. Has she even won a game?

Manley? WTF? Did he just turn up today :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,496 ✭✭✭Will I Am Not

It will be Peter “one match” Manley if he doesn’t buck up. Dreadful stuff.

Edit : He actually won that leg ffs.

And he scrapes through 5-4 with a 75 average.

    That's mad!

Sherrock and Suzuki both very unlucky to average over 90 and still go out in the first round.

Keane Barry started well with two 5-0 wins, averaging 90 and 94.

Lisa Ashton out in the second round. Touch and go now for her to get through.

    Is there any live standings?

By my reckoning she's down to 8th, a few players on 7 points have gone to 8 points now. I'd say she's in trouble, I think one point would have done her. She must be kicking herself

Keane barry playing well by the looks of it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,022 ✭✭✭jamesbere

Good man barry, 4-2 down facing match darts. Comes back to win.

Hard to say this early for sure, a few directly behind her gone early too, asada, edhouse, pilgrim, Nicholson Mawson and modra

Culleton out, went 4-0 down finished 5-2 Keane Barry through to last 32 with 100 average

Watching live scoring on DartConnect is better than this years BDO coverage.

    Here you go:

    https://www.dartsrankings.com/qschool-uk

Looks like if Wes Newton is beaten next round Ashton and Newell on 9 points will get through

edit: maybe not - lewis pride currently has a better leg difference and the lads on 7 pts could also dislodge the 9 pointers

    Interesting situations arising now.

Tabern plays Newton - Tabern already secure; if Newton currently sitting in 13th with 12 to qualify... were he to win he's a step closer...

    just sayin' ;)

O Driscoll, O'Shea and Barry the last of the Irish left. Waites v Mitchell starting soon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,029 ✭✭✭boomdocker

Mitchell v Waites in the last 32, should be tasty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,882 ✭✭✭sc86

Barry through to last 32 , does he need outright win?

He is now through to the last 8. Just needs 2 more wins.

Needs to win outright. Whatever happens, he is some talent.

Wesley harms in final of euro q school

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,234 ✭✭✭VillaMad

Lisa Ashton now sitting in 11th out of the top 12 order of merit qualifiers.

Penhall set to go above her. If Steve Hine wins one more match, she will miss out.

Scott waites beats scott mitchell to get to last 8

    Barry 4-1 up here.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,234 ✭✭✭VillaMad

Steve Hine loses so between Stephen Burton and Lisa Ashton for the last spot although if Wayne Jones or Adam Hunt get an automatic spot, they would both qualify.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,496 ✭✭✭Will I Am Not

5-2 win. 102 average. Great stuff.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,234 ✭✭✭VillaMad

Barry beats Dennant 5-2. 102 average. Phenomenal darts.

Kenny beats Burton. Lisa Ashton has a tour card.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,882 ✭✭✭sc86

    Fair play to her
Would like to see waites and barry get through now

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,234 ✭✭✭VillaMad

Waites plays Adam Hunt next and the winner plays Barry.

Great stuff - think she missed out by a point last year?
    Fingers crossed for Keane Barry

  • Registered Users Posts: 696 ✭✭✭Stewball

Barry vs Waites for a tour card. Currently 2-0 Waites.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,029 ✭✭✭boomdocker

    3-0 now, needs this one

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,496 ✭✭✭Will I Am Not

3-0 Waites. Barry had 3 darts to finish 40 last leg :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 696 ✭✭✭Stewball

    Waites averaging 100.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,496 ✭✭✭Will I Am Not

    5-0 Waites.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,029 ✭✭✭boomdocker

Bummer for the young man - played great all day

  • Registered Users Posts: 696 ✭✭✭Stewball

Keane Barry has time on his side. He'll be on the tour eventually.

Waites finally on the tour about 10 years on from when he should have switched.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,496 ✭✭✭Will I Am Not

Wouldn’t have faired much better in the other game. Nick Kenny won it with 110 average.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,022 ✭✭✭jamesbere

Waites too strong, barry is gutted I'd say. He's a long future ahead and hell learn from this experience.

Can't wait to see more of him in the future. He's a real talent.
