Its luck of the draw also
You can get easy route and get a guy avg 32 again you!

Will have to see if he can better that average

Your man who had the 32 average is supposedly injured, just had to turn up to get on the challenge tour. It must be a nasty injury because youd average more than that with 2 darts throwing with your foot

The famous Keith Carter lost 5-0 again yesterday with a 51.7 average. This is his fourth time doing q-school and he has never won a leg. He must have a fair few quid as he shows up every year for the laugh.

It would be great if he could win a leg!

Keane Barry gets Day 2 off to a good start with an easy 5-0 win in his first match.

Throw at the 14/11 treble area and the worst case he would have scored 33.
That was always my tip to get newbies through the early rounds of low-score killers.

Sherrock out 5-2 first round. Jim Williams also out first round losing to Parletti.

Poor old Keith Carter lost 5-0 again with a lowly 42 average today. He's getting worse.

    5-4 Waites.
Barry missed about 4/5 darts at a double to go 4-1 up.

I thought Mark Walsh and One Dart were both going to Q School?

Nico Kurs is only going one day. Can't understand it.

Wesley Harms won his first game today 5-0 with a 71 avg. Then got knocked out 5-3 with a 105 avg.

Goes to show the craziness of the event.

Looks like they are all planning on playing just the one day so they are eligible for the challenge tour and Euro Tour events.

Very disappointing from Kurz, he's definitely good enough for the full tour.

He got knocked out by Kevin Munch.

    Remember him?

That Danny Baggish fella pulled out of Q School to play a mickey mouse cricket tournament in the US.
    What a short-sighted clown.

Some lads on here might know, any sign of the pieman, Andy Smith. Was watching YouTube videos the other night, he was playing, about 2 years since I saw him play, great character.

Bit harsh on Mitchell, he had a 105 average in his first game and 94 in his second.

2 BDO commentators playing each other now :pac:
    Nicholson 2-0 up on O’Shea.

Irish fella called Michael Flynn. Won 5-0 in his first 3 rounds today averaging 72, 82, 87 and now 4-0 up in his 4th round!

*Finished 5-1 I cursed him. And another 86 average. Luck of the draw is so important, into the last 32 now.

    Ashton just beat Wes newton

  • Registered Users Posts: 387 ✭✭passinginterest

Looking at some of the stats today:
8 players averaging less than 75 got through two rounds.

By contrast 7 players averaging over 90 went out first round.

Players have plenty of opportunities over the four days, luck of draw is part of it but players have to bring there a game

Another win there into last 16

All the BDO big boys no where near getting a card yet. Jim Williams, Daryl Fitton, Scott Waites, Scott Mitchell, Tony O'Shea all doing poor enough.

Wesley Harms had a decent run in the Euro school yesterday but nowhere today.

Another win there into last 16

Tough draw now though against Stephen Burton - decent player
